In the Room...

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
(I Corinthians 13:11)

When we were children (most of us) had shame… so much so that when we knew we were doing something bad, we would do our best to hide it, so that our parents wouldn’t see and hope they never found out…

I was thinking of that while in church the other day… the message for me that day came from a song that the band sang… the lyrics said something like “I’m not going to talk about you, like you’re not in the room…”

How many of us so called “Christians” ever think about that? We act like God is sitting up on His throne looking down on us from so far up He couldn’t possibly see what we’re doing… and it’s true… He IS sitting up on His throne, but God is omnipresent… which means… he’s EVERYWHERE!

I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
(Matthew 28:20)

There you are having sex with someone you’re not married to… Jesus is standing right next to your bed watching everything you’re doing…

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
(1 Corinthians 6:18)

There you are sitting drinking your beer and Jesus is sitting right there next to you watching you drink the beer…

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit
(Ephesians 5:18)

There you are smoking your cigarettes or your joint and Jesus is right there watching you smoke…

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
(I Corinthians 6:19-20)

There you go calling your friend to tell them what this person said or did…

Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
(James 4:11)

There you are cursing God’s name because something didn’t go your way… Jesus is standing there paying close attention to every word…

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
(Exodus 20:7)

There you are complaining about the situation… Jesus hears your words…

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
(Proverbs 6:2)

There you are speaking doubt and fear…

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
(Proverbs 18:21)

Jesus is sitting listening to every word you say, comparing it to the Word He wrote.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
(Matthew 12:36)

When we were children, (most of us) had fear of our parents and what would happen if we got caught doing something wrong. As children of God, this is the same “fear” we should have for God.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
(Proverbs 1:7)

Not the “fear” of what’s to happen if we disobey him (although we should have that kind of “fear”)… but rather the kind of “fear” we have for someone we respect and honor for everything He has done for us.

So many of us like to rationalize our CHOICE to sin by saying “I’m already saved” because they said some prayer once and it somehow gives them the right to do whatever they want from then on.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
(Hebrews 10:26)

But see, the Bible is clear, we make the CHOICE to sin, after we know its wrong… and when we CHOOSE to sin, that little prayer we once said no longer has any bearing… it no longer holds any weight… Why?

Because when we got “saved” we made a promise to God.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
(Romans 6:1-2)

We promised that not only were we repenting of our sins that we had already committed…

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(I John 1:9)

But, we also made the promise that we would completely separate ourselves from the world and all its sin…

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(Romans 12:1-2)

Because we acknowledge that we no longer belong to the world…

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
(John 15:19)

And recognize that God has made us clean…

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(II Corinthians 5:17)

But it begins with our CHOICE to do things God’s way… not OUR way…

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

And that path is laid out for us in the Bible…

First we must acknowledge is the creator of all and it is He who we come to and answer to for all things…

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(Romans 1:20-21)

We must then acknowledge that we HAVE sinned, despite being God’s creation…

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(Romans 3:23)

But that God loved us so much, He CHOSE to send His own Son as a sacrifice for our sins…

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

Because without Christ, we deserve and should meet eternal death, but through Christ, we receive eternal life from God…

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

It isn’t automatic. We have to make the CHOICE to confess our sins and CHOOSE to believe in our hearts that Jesus is our ONLY Salvation.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:9-10)

And we CHOOSE to put Jesus Christ above all things… including ourselves and our own worldly desires.

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.
(Romans 11:36)

Not simply because we fear what happens if we don’t…

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
(Revelation 21:8)

And not just because we believe for our eternal final reward…

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
(II Timothy 4:8)

But also because we KNOW that IF we CHOOSE to obey God here on earth then God will CHOOSE to bless our lives with good things…

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
(Jeremiah 29:11)

And that he will fulfill his desire for us, which is to live a long healthy life blessed with every desire of our heart.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
(III John 2)

So… the next time you want speak fear or doubt about the situation you’re in, don’t forget that Jesus is repeating every word you speak to God and confirming that this is what you believe for your life.

The next time you want to complain about what’s going on in your life, don’t forget Jesus is hearing you complain about the life he’s blessed you with.

The next time you want to use God’s name in vain, don’t forget that Jesus is listening to you as you dishonor his name.

The next time you want to call your friend and gossip about someone, don’t forget that Jesus is on the line with you, hearing everything you say.

The next time you want to light up a cigarette and/or joint, don’t forget that Jesus is sitting right there watching you CHOOSE to harm your body.

The next time you want to take a drink, don’t forget that Jesus is watching you turn His Temple into a mockery.

The next time you want to sleep with that person you’re not married to, don’t forget Jesus is standing there watching you turn His Temple into a whore house.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
(Joshua 24:15)

The next time you want to do ANY of the things God commands us not to do in His Word, don’t forget that Jesus is watching you CHOOSE to live by your own ways, rather than His.

He’s watching you CHOOSE to be cursed rather than blessed.

He’s watching you CHOOSE to suffer because of your sin.

He’s watching you CHOOSE to be less than what he created you to be.

The next time you want to do something you KNOW you shouldn’t do, don’t forget that you leave God NO CHOICE but to allow you to go to hell, because despite how much God loves you, you don’t love Him enough to CHOOSE to obey His Word and walk the path He CHOSE for you.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
(Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

We ALL have choices to make, we can either CHOOSE to be obedient and accepted by God… OR… we can CHOOSE to disobey God’s Word and be rejected by Him… either way… we have nobody to blame for what happens to us, but ourselves!

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(Matthew 7:23)

Fight for your Right... VOTE!!!

There are those of us who will stand by and allow our government to do what it wants… when it wants… how it wants… there are those of us who chose the current situation our country is in by either choosing to vote for the wrong people… or simply not choosing to vote at all… there are those of us who simply do not care… they do not believe their vote counts… or simply have given up on the matter all together… BUT… there are still those of us who refuse to give up… refuse to surrender… we choose to fight… perhaps not with guns and knives (yet)… but with our voices… and with our VOTES… VOTE… not because it’s the “right thing” to do… not because it feels good… not because someone else is telling you to… VOTE… because whether we love it or hate it… this is OUR country… because still have the right to say who runs it… and what they can do with it!

Tomorrow isn’t just another election day… it isn’t just another day to climb into a box… put your mark on paper and go home with a sticker and feel good about yourself… it’s a day for you to use a weapon greater than a knife or sword… more powerful than guns and bombs… it’s a day when millions of people will say without saying a word that we will NOT sit back any longer and allow the current administration to destroy the country we love and support… we will NOT allow them to lie to us… we will NOT allow them to turn our heroes into villains and our enemies into friends… we will NOT allow them to steal any more of our rights in the name of “the greater good”… we will NOT allow them to turn us into a people cowering in fear of what the government will do next and keeping us reliant upon them to survive! We don’t need the government to save us… the government needs us to save it! We WILL take back our country… by putting the right people where they need to be… by removing those who would rather sit back and fatten their pockets in the name of “welfare” than they would use that money to create the jobs this country so desperately NEEDS!

Our danger isn’t overseas… fighting countries we barely know over issues we barely understand… our danger isn’t in the terrorist who wants to destroy our country with bombs… our danger isn’t from the outside… its from within… WE have become the biggest danger to this country… the minority “we” that would rather sit at home and feel sorry for itself instead of creating opportunity! We are NOT the lazy Americans our government has turned us out to be… sitting at home collecting “welfare”… not because we “need it”… not because we “deserve it”… simply because we “want it” and somehow have convinced ourselves that we should have it!

This country deserves better… this country NEEDS better… we need entrepreneurs… not career welfare recipients… we need business men and women… not vagrants and thieves… we need opportunists… not elitists… We need people who want to give back to this country for all it’s done for them… not whine and bitch about everything this country does not do for them!

So… for that reason… I’ve selected this image to represent what we need to stand for… YES… I believe we are “one nation under God”… but not everybody who reads this will believe… understand… or accept that… so I did not use a “religious” symbol… YES… I believe we are a REPUBLIC that stands for freedom of the people not oppression or coercion… but… again… we all do not believe that… and for that reason I’ve selected to not use the Republican symbol… I believe in lady liberty… I believe in the flag… I believe in all they both stand for… but… they are both passive symbols in a time where we need be come angry (not violent)… aggressive (not dangerous)… We need to become active (not ignorant) in how our country is lead and the direction in which it goes!

Which is why I’ve chosen two fictional characters to represent what must happen in this country come tomorrow… Captain AMERICA… and of course Wonder Woman… two who stood for good… against all evils… both foreign and domestic… two who stood for right… even when it was wrong to stand for it… two who you knew would never back down… even if it cost their lives… this is the America we need to get back to… this is the America we must seek out… this is the America we DESERVE!

So… tomorrow when you vote… I hope you’ll remember this one thing… choose people who will fight to restore this country… vote for the ones who truly want “change”… not just say they do and then do nothing to bring it about… vote for those who will fight FOR you… not against you… vote for the ones who will do what it takes to create a better America… not the ones who tell you to take what they give you and like it… we are America… we are AMERICANS! And until another country (or someone from within) comes and takes our rights and freedoms from us… we will remain America… a country built on the idea that it was good and well to want more in life and that NOBODY… no matter race… religion… political party… or otherwise has the right to take that away from us! Superheroes may not be real, but with your vote… we can send the message that we still believe in what they stand for… freedom… human rights and the AMERICAN WAY!

Fight for your right now… or face the consequences of your actions (or lack there of)…

Coversation between Obama & Bush

Obama: Hello Mr. President, I was just calling to thank you for everything you did that I took credit for and have made me look good, despite the fact I’ve really done absolutely nothing since taking office. I hope you don’t mind me blaming you for everything, even though I know had I stayed your course, we probably would’ve been in a much better position than we are now…

Bush: Now Barry, you know I don’t mind… You know how it is… Republicans put all the hard work in and Democrats take the credit… while Democrats make all the mess… & Republicans are blamed for it… don’t forget that I took the blame for the mess slick Willy left the country in… just like I’m sure the Republican who takes your place in 2012 will somehow be blamed for all your mistakes.

Obama: Well Mr. President, tonight I announce the pullout of our troops in Iraq, thank you for the success we had there… and I hope you don’t mind if I once again take the credit for it…

Bush: Barry, I toldya… that’s what I’m here for… blame me for the bad… take credit for the good… its all part of the game…

Obama: Well thank you Mr. President, I appreciate that… I don’t think my ego could take it if people stopped drinking Obama-Aid and realized just how messed up this country really is…

Bush: Well now Barry, you can’t force them all to drink, what happens with the ones who refuse to drink?

Obama: What do you think the troops I’m bringing home are for?

Obama: That was a joke Mr. President, I’m putting the Obama-Aid in the water, they won’t have a choice…

IT'S YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE...

It's amazing how much so called "Christians" believe that isn't even in the Bible... then they wonder why their lives aren't going the way it should...

One person believes its ok to drink as a Christian... another that its ok to sleep around with people you're not married to... another believes "once saved always saved"... & yet another "I'm nothing more than a sinner saved by grace, trying to make it through"... "everybody has to sin a little"... "just gotta love"... "just be happy with whatcha got"... "don't ask God for more"... "everything that happens is God's will"... and everything else they can think of to rationalize why they CHOOSE to disobey God. Well, God's answer is the same in both the Old and New Testament...

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
(Revelation 22:18-19)

For those of you who use that lame excuse "well I just can't understand the Bible the way its written"...

What its saying is that if you add to God's word (like you do when you tell God you think its to drink, sleep around, party, etc...) he is going to put all the curses on you that the Bible talks about are for people like you (poverty, sickness, depression, oppression, etc...) and if you remove from God's book (like people who take out the scriptures telling us not to sin or not to be worldly...) God is going to remove your name from the "book of life"... which is that book your name has to be in if you want to get into heaven.

But...

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

If you CHOOSE to obey God, he will CHOOSE to bless you with EVERYTHING! I don't know about you... but it sounds like a common sense choice to make... but that's just me.

There ARE African Americans... Hispanics... Asians... Native Americans... WOMEN... who instead of playing the race/sex card have decided that they in fact ARE EQUAL! NOT VICTIMS... EQUAL! Racism exist because the PERSON considers themself a minority... NOT because they are being discriminated against... but rather because THEY discriminate against THEMSELVES! People will stop treating others as "different" as soon as these very people stop using their race... or sex... as CRUTCHES!

Fortunately there are educated and knowledgeable "minorities" (for a lack of better terms) who would rather rise above and not "overcome", but realize that they have ALREADY OVERCOME and the only ones who have not are those who keep themselves in slavery in their own minds!

Resurrection 2010

This is a true story. I was wondering what I was going to write/share for Resurrection Day and this morning it came to me, so I wanted to share it.

I was walking down the street on my way to the gym, when for whatever reason I blurted out “LORD GIVE ME A SIGN”… Which was more me quoting DMX’s song than making any sort of exclamation… But, as usually… that didn’t matter when God has something to say, because as I got those words out, I heard Him speak to me as clear as day. And this is what he said:

“What more sign can I give you? I gave you my son… he was the fulfillment of all things. Have I not taught you that if you ask you will receive? Does my word not say that if you seek you will find? Do I not promise to open the door if you knock? (Matthew 7:7) My people ARE destroyed because of their lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6), but they’re all destroyed because they lack the faith to believe the knowledge they do hold and without that faith, I WILL NOT move (Hebrews 11:6).

Why do people continue to use my “will” as an excuse to not have the things they desire or do the things they want to do? I’ve heard “if it be the Lord’s will” taken out of context more times than there are stars in the sky. Why do my people proclaim they don’t know my will? Do they even bother reading or paying attention to my word? Don’t they realize that I have GIVEN them my will… MY WORD! (Romans 12:2)

Why did I send my son? So whoever believes in Him (and what he DID) will have eternal life. (John 3:16) And is not my Son my Word? (John 1:1) So then why is it that my people seem to (misguidedly) accept that that their sins are eternally forgiven, yet CHOOSE to reject the fact that I also promised to give them EVERYTHING they desire (Mark 11:24)… whether its complete healing (I Peter 2:24) or abundant wealth (Luke 6:38). My son will return for a PERFECT church (Ephesians 5:27), not a dead dry compromising body that only accepts part of my word. (Revelation 3:16)

Indecision is of the devil (James 1:8)… the days of “wait and see” were done the day my son resurrected into heaven (John 16:23). My people are NOT of this world (Colossians 2:8). They do not wonder of what is or will be, but rather have confidence in knowing that WHATEVER they ask of me I WILL DO! (I John 5:14). It is time my people stop coming to me to find out what they need to do… its time for them to KNOW what they want… KNOW what I say… and KNOW that it IS my will for them to do and have whatsoever they desire! (II Timothy 3:14-15)”

I can’t tell you the big smile that put on my face. By the time I got to the gym, I had such an amazing rush of energy that I really don’t remember much of my work out, I just got through it with ease. I know God was speaking to me, but I also know this is a message for everybody. We are NOT “barely getting by”, “wait and see” “if it be the Lord’s will” people… God has promised to give us ALL we need (Philippians 4:19… we KNOW what is and is not of God (Hebrews 5:14)… and we KNOW what God’s will for our lives is (III John 2)… Why do we KNOW these things? Because we are God’s CHOSEN!

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
(I Peter 2:9)

Would Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Be Proud of Barack Obama as President?

In celebration of a true historical icon, I thought I would take a moment to discuss something our president so eloquently likes to claim… that he is the fulfillment of Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream… but… was he?

Martin Luther King Jr. was first of all a Christian, secondly a Conservative and more importantly (for the sake of this argument) a REPUBLICAN! Martin Luther King Jr. wanted men to be judged by the content of their character and NOT the color of their skin, but all I hear is that we've elected the first BLACK President. Since when is BLACK part of someone’s character? People who celebrate the election of the first BLACK President are bigger racists than those who never wanted to see a BLACK President in office. Do you know why you keep celebrating the fact that he’s BLACK? Because if you took the time to do what Martin Luther King Jr. actually wanted and judged Obama by the content of his CHARACTER, you’d realize that there’s nothing there to judge.

Let’s make a quick comparison between the two:

- Martin Luther King Jr. praised this country as a CHRISTIAN country… Obama has denounced and chastised anybody who makes such a claim!

- Martin Luther King Jr. denied himself the opportunity to be protected, funded and supported by Malcom X and his violent supporters… Obama was trained, groomed, funded and protected by some of the most violent and controversial men of our time.

- Martin Luther King Jr. died for speaking what he believed and didn’t care who his audience was… Obama will say whatever is popular in front of the audience to whom he is speaking to!

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed that ALL men deserved to speak their minds and express themselves respectfully… Obama believes that you should not be allowed to question, comment or criticize the way he runs the government.

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed that ALL children deserved the same education… Obama reversed the DC vouchers that funded children from poor areas to attend better schools, while his own children attend the best private school in the area!

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed in the right to live for ALL children, born AND unborn… All of Obama’s actions since taking office have helped to encourage MORE senseless murders of unborn children!

- Martin Luther King Jr. fought hard to FREE his people by trying to get laws passed that made them equal and helped them become a benefit to society, both by creating an income and making them an equal part of the work force… Obama continues to support and pass programs that fund allowing these same people to sit at home and collect money for not working, in order to keep them SLAVES to the government!

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed that ALL men had the right to become self reliant… Obama believes he has the right to make ALL men reliant upon the government.

- Martin Luther King Jr. taught people to do any job that was available to them, no matter what it was, as long as you were working… Obama prefers people not work in order to make them more reliant upon what the government will give them.

Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream has NOT come to pass, if anything we’ve taken several steps back from reaching his dream. For every vote that was cast because Obama is BLACK, that is one step back. For every vote cast for Obama because he was “NOT Bush”, that’s one step back. For every vote that was cast because Oprah, Will I Am, Scarlet Johansen, or any other celebrity whored themselves in support of Obama, that’s another step back. If you remove all of those votes, what do you have left? Can you honestly say you support a man who supports the abomination of gay marriage, the senseless murder of unborn children and funding programs that allow lazy people to sit at home and CHOOSE not to work, because the government will support them… of course what they don’t realize is that for every check they receive, another one of their rights is being stripped from them.

I WILL support my president (the office) and my country, but I will NEVER support his liberal socialist agenda. Barack Obama will do what every Democratic President in history, reap the benefits that the Republican President before him left because of the unpopular choices he had the backbone to make.

Some day, I do believe Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream will come true. Someday a man will get elected and NOTHING will be said about the color of his skin… nothing will be said about his race… nothing will be said about his nationality (other than he is a naturally born American, unlike Obama)… what will be said about him is he is an honorable man… a wise man (not just a good speaker)… a trustworthy man… what will be said is that he is a man deserving of the office of United States President… Obama is NOT that man!

The Bible and Illegal Immigration

The Bible teaches us to obey the laws of the land, whether or not we agree with them. As long as its illegal for non-Americans to illegally cross the border then its something as Christians we should adhere to and obey. The only exception to this is if the laws of the land cause you to disobey God's word.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
(Acts 5:29)

In these cases, God commands us to obey his word rather than the law. For example, the pastors who refuse to perform gay marriages are doing so because they are obeying God's law rather than man's.

People try and use Leviticus 19, Exodus 22 & 23 and Deuteronomy 10 to try and rationalize that it's wrong to stand against illegal immigration, but the instances in those scriptures were referring to specific situations in which the people were INVITED into the new nation. In the case of the Israelites, they were first invited into Egypt and then the Egyptians turned on them, breaking God's law. In the case of the US, its illegal to come into this country uninvited (without going through the process of becoming a natural citizen). This takes us back to my original point that since it’s illegal to come into this country without permission then we as Christians are commanded to obey these laws. However, if an immigrant goes through the proper process of becoming a legal citizen, we must then allow them to remain in the country and respect their right to be here. There are NO scriptures in the Bible to support illegal immigration or supporting people who are in this country illegally.

I remember the day we met.

You sang happy birthday just for me.

Then there was that night at the club in Hollywood.
How you made me feel like no one else could.

There you were with all your friends around you.
But, when you saw me what did you do?

I couldn’t believe that you remembered me out of all your friends.

You pulled me on the dance floor and you let me hold you tight.
And we showed the whole world what it was like to dance right.

I gave you a picture of me to keep.

THE SPIRIT OF LIFE

John Lake was a missionary in Central Africa when an epidemic broke out. Thousands of people were dying. One of the doctors sent by the local government asked him what he used to inoculate himself with against the virus.

Lake directed the doctor to put a sample of the living virus under a microscope, and view the masses of living germs. He then took the sample in his hand for a moment and then returned it to the microscope. To the doctor's amazement the germs were dead.

"That is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus," he declared. "As long as I keep my soul in contact with the living God. . . no germ can attach itself to me. My spirit and body are so filled with the blessed presence of God, it even oozes from my pores."

The "law of the Spirit of life" is the regulating, activating power, and life of the Holy Spirit that has set us free from the power of sin, hell, and the grave.

I haven’t done a BLOG in my own words for a while, but something came up today that annoyed me… or maybe I wrote it all just to get that last one liner in… Either way, I think there’s a point to be made not just about the subject at hand, but the ignorance and gullibility of Americans as a whole.

The back story is that yet another former American Idol contestant has made the claim that the entire American Idol competition is fake. The story can be found by CLICKING HERE:

Anybody who doesn't realize that Idol has been fake since the beginning is a complete moron. From the beginning auditions they pick the best and worst (do you honestly believe some of these horrible performances were considered "good enough" to perform in front of the judges?) NO! Its done on purpose. These people are TOLD by the producers that they are "amazing" only to have the judges mock them and berate them in front of America. How stupid can America be? From the "auditions" you can tell who they've selected based on how much coverage they give to each contestant... and this is BEFORE they announce the top contestants. You've got to be ignorant or just plain stupid to not realize that American Idol was, is and will always be a pathetic joke! They (for the most part) select the "average" American talent that everybody can either root for or sympathize with. Beginning with Kelly who they "forced" us to care about to Fantasia who they used her race and situation to get people to feel sorry for her and accept her to Chris who is considered the "average American". It's ALL a JOKE! If you're dumb enough to buy into American Idol as being a "real singing competition" then I bet you also believe in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy. I bet you believe that Michael Jackson did NOT molest those boys. I bet you really believe that our Socialist dictator Obama can implement Universal Healthcare without it costing America a dime! If you believe in that, then I have a bridge I'd like to sell you for a dollar! GROW UP!

Is God Your Father?

There was once a man who literally had it all. He was considered both the wisest and richest man to ever live. He was both a scientist and doctor and claimed to have found the cures to everything from the common cold to cancer. He also claimed to find a way to assure women would get pregnant. He owned homes all over the world and everything that a person could possibly need, want or desire. This man also had many children. One day, when his children were all old enough to care for themselves, the father suddenly disappeared and left only a note:

My dear children, although I may not be there for you physically, I want you to know that you can come to me for anything and I will assist you as best as I can. I’ve opened the following site for you to post messages to me whenever you need me…

The world was able to read every message sent back and forth between the children and their father. Some were simple pleasantries and others were cries for help.One day one of his children wrote on the site, “Dear dad, I could really use your help. I’m about to lose my home, because I’m not making enough money where I work. I know you told me to be happy with what I have and never ask you for more or expect anything from you, but please if you could help me out, I’d really appreciate it.”

The father replied that same day saying, “I’m sorry son, this is what is meant for you. Although I have all the money in the world to help you, I choose not to.”

A month later his son was forced to leave his home and live on the streets. He was found beaten to death in an alley.One of the children posted on the site “today we buried your son. He was only 30 years old and was found beaten to death.”

The father replied, “It’s as it should be.”

On another occasion one of the man’s daughters wrote on the site, “Dear dad, my husband and I have been attempting to have a child from nearly a year now. I know you claimed to have discovered a way for me to conceive, would you please share this with me, so I can have a child?”

The next day, the daughter checked the site and her father replied, “Dear daughter, I don’t think it would be right for you to have children. Obviously it’s not meant to be, please move on with your life.”

Eventually the daughter became so depressed from not being able to conceive a child that it led to the destruction of her marriage and one day she was found hung in her bedroom.

One of the children posted on the site “today we buried your daughter. She killed herself because she became too depressed about not being able to bare children.”

The father replied, “It’s as it should be.”

Several months later another of his sons wrote on this site, “Dear father, today I found out that I have cancer. The doctors tell me I have a couple months to live at most. Please, help me by sharing the knowledge you have to cure cancer.”

This time the father didn’t reply. A few days went by and there was nothing. Weeks went by, a month and another and eventually the son died of cancer. The father did not reply again until another of his sons posted on the site, “we buried your son today, he died of cancer.”

The father replied, “It’s as it should be.”

One day as the remaining children sat around the dinner table their father came walking into the house. He walked up to them and said, “I’ve come to take you all with me, so you don’t have to suffer any longer.”

How many of us would want to go with a father knowing that he could’ve helped his children but chose not to?

How many of us would respect a father who could do so much and chose to do nothing?

So then why is this the picture of God we paint for others?

As Christians we are supposed to be God’s children. As his children God has given us the Bible so that we know how we should be living as Christians and to remind us of who we are as his children. So then why is it we limit our own Heavenly Father in what he’s capable of?

Why is it we lie about what God, our heavenly and all powerful Father wants for us?

Why is it when people are sick we tell them “it must be God’s will”?

Why is it when someone is lacking something we tell them “it must be God’s will” for them not to have it?

Why do we tell people to “just be happy with what you have” and “don’t expect more from God”?

Why do we tell God’s people who are suffering that “it’s just part of being a Christian”?

THESE ARE ALL LIES!!!

Don’t people read the Bible?God doesn’t want us to suffer.

God doesn’t want us poor.

God certainly doesn’t want us sick.

And anybody who tells you that its “God’s will” for any of those things to be a part of your life is lying to you and is blaspheming against God’s word and has blood on their hands for their lies.

It’s time the body of Christ… God’s children… CHRISTIANS… stop making excuses for the bad things in their lives. It’s time they realize that God does NOT want his children to be suffering and the ONLY reason we suffer is because we lack the TRUE knowledge of God and we lack the FAITH to believe what his Word says.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

An Open Letter to President Obama

Dear Mr. President,

You face difficult challenges in matters such as achieving peace in the Middle East and protecting America from the threat of radical Islam and terrorism. These are challenges that have vexed past presidents, going as far back as our second president, John Adams. I have no doubt you appreciate both the gravity of these challenges and the enormous obstacles that exist to solving them.

I also have no doubt that you and your staff understood that, no matter what you said in your speech last Thursday in Cairo, there would be those who would take issue with you. That is always the case when attempting to solve problems that are as deep and emotionally-laden as these challenges are.

I am assuming it is your sincere hope that the approach you have chosen to take, as evidenced by what I’m sure was a carefully crafted speech, will ultimately prove successful. However, it pains me to say this sir, but, while you said in your speech that you are a “student of history,” it is abundantly clear that, in these matters, you do not know history and thus, as Santayana noted, you are doomed to repeat it. In doing so your efforts, however well-intentioned they may be, will not produce what you profess to hope they will produce.

A wise man once said that if you start with the wrong assumptions, no matter how logical your reasoning is, you will end up with the wrong conclusion. With all due respect Mr. President, you are starting with certain assumptions that are unsupported by history and an objective study of the ideology of political Islam.

You began in your speech by asserting that “tensions” exist between the United States and Muslims around the world, which, of course, is correct. Unfortunately, you then proceeded, incorrectly, to lay virtually all the blame for these tensions at the feet of America and the West. You blamed western colonialism, the Cold War, and even modernity and globalism.

A student of American history, who is not trying to reconstruct it to fit a modern politically correct narrative, would state that tensions between America and Muslims began with the unprovoked, four-decades long assault by the Muslim Barbary pirates against American shipping in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. I find it telling that you mentioned the Treaty of Tripoli in your speech but ignored the circumstances that led to it. That treaty was but one of numerous attempts by the United States to achieve peace with the jihadists of the Barbary Coast who were attacking our shipping and killing and enslaving our citizens and our soldiers – and who by their own admission were doing so to fulfill the call to jihad.

These jihadists were not acting to protest American foreign policy, which was decidedly isolationist, and there was no state of Israel to scapegoat. They were doing what countless Islamic jihadists have done throughout history – acting upon the hundreds of passages in the Qur’an and the Hadith that call upon faithful Muslims to kill, conquer or subjugate the infidel.

A student of world history would know that, for all the acknowledged evils of Western colonialism, these evils pale in comparison to the nearly 14 centuries of Islamic colonialism that began in Arabia under the leadership of Mohammed. The student of history would know that Islamic forces eradicated all Jewish and Christian presence from Arabia after Mohammed’s death, and then succeeded in conquering all of North Africa, most of the Middle East, much of Asia Minor, and significant portions of Europe and India – eventually creating an empire larger than Rome’s was at its peak.

The number of dead and enslaved during these many centuries of Islamic imperial conquest and colonialism have been estimated to total more than 300 million. What’s more, the wealth of many of the conquered nations and cultures was plundered by the Islamic conquerors, and millions of millions of non-Muslims who did survive were forced to pay onerous taxes, such as the “jizya,” a humiliation tax to the Islamic caliphs. Indeed, in some areas Christians and Jews were made to wear a receipt for the jizya around their neck as a mark of their dishonor.

These facts have not been invented by Christian or Jewish historical revisionists, but were chronicled by Muslim eyewitnesses throughout the past 14 centuries and are available to be researched by any person seeking an objective understanding of how Islam spread throughout the world.

You say in your speech that we must squarely face the tensions that exist between America and the Muslim world. That is a laudable notion with which I agree, but by casting Islam as the historical victim and the West (and by implication, America) as the aggressor, you do not face these tensions squarely, but alleviate the Muslim world from coming to grips with the jihadist ideology embedded in its holy books and acted upon for 1,400 years.

Even worse, you empower and embolden militant Islamists who regard your gestures as signs of weakness and capitulation.

The issue is not that all Muslims are terrorists or radicals or extremists. We all know that the majority of Muslims are not. We also know that many peace-loving Muslims are victims of Islamist violence.

The issue is this: what drives hundreds of millions of Muslims worldwide to call for the death of Jews?

What drives millions of Muslims to riot, destroy property, and take innocent lives in reaction to the Danish cartoons?

What drives tens of thousands of Muslims to demand the execution of a British teacher whose only “crime” was allowing her students to name their teddy bears “Mohammed”?

What drives countless Muslims worldwide to actively participate in, or fund, or provide nurture to, terrorist organizations?

What drives Muslims in mosques in America to proclaim and distribute materials that call for hatred of and the destruction of infidels?

What drives entire Islamic countries to prohibit the building of a Christian church or synagogue?

To assume, as you apparently do, that what drives these actions is not an ideology embedded in the holy books of Islam, but rather other “root causes,” most of which you lay at the feet of America and the West, is at best naïve and at worst dangerous.

Lastly, I must address your statement that “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.” Unfortunately, the examples you gave are the exception rather than the rule.

Historically speaking, I seriously doubt the Egyptian Copts, the Lebanese Maronites, the Christians in Bethlehem, the Assyrians, the Hindus, the Jews, and many others who have been persecuted by Islamic violence and supremacism, would agree with your assertion.

For instance, Christians and Jews became “Dhimmis,” a second class group under Islam. Dhimmis were forced to wear distinctive clothing; it was Baghdad’s Caliph Al-Mutawakkil, in the ninth century, who designated a yellow badge for Jews under Islam, which Hitler copied and duplicated in Nazi Germany nearly a thousand years later.

I witnessed first-hand the “tolerance” of Islam when Islamists ravaged my country of birth, Lebanon, in the 1970’s, leaving widespread death and destruction in their wake. I saw how they re-paid the tolerance that Lebanese Christians extended toward them. My experience is not an isolated one. When you make an unfounded assertion about the “proud tradition” of tolerance in Islam, you do a great disservice to the hundreds of millions of non-Muslims who have been killed, maimed, enslaved, conquered, subjugated or displaced – in the cause of Islamic jihad.

Mr. President, those of us like me who are ringing the alarm in America about the threat of radical Islam would like nothing better than to peacefully co-exist with the Muslim world. Most Americans would like nothing better than to peacefully co-exist with the Muslim world. The obstacle to achieving this does not lie with us in America and the West. It lies with the hundreds of millions of Muslims worldwide, including many of their spiritual leaders, who take seriously the repeated calls to jihad in the Qur’an and the Hadith. Who regard “infidels” as inferior and worthy of conquering, subjugating and forcibly converting. Who support “cultural jihad” as a means to subvert non-Muslim societies from within. Who take seriously the admonitions throughout the Qur’an and the Hadith to convert the world to Islam – by force if necessary – and bring it under the rule of Allah.

Unless you are willing to courageously and honestly accept this, your aspirations for worldwide comity and peace in the Middle East are doomed to fail.

With these words, Jesus drew a line in the sand between the works of God and the works of the devil. God's work is life-giving, healing and uplifting. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17). Everything that steals, kills, and destroys is the work of the devil. Sickness, disease, and injury do not come from God.

Christianity is not a game that you play on Sunday and then re-enter the world's game on Monday. The devil will see to you that you lose such a game. Being a Christian, a little anointed one, means that you live out Christ's life seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day. You cannot play at faith . . . you must live it!

Don't play around with salvation. You are either a child of the devil or a child of God. The devil hates his own kids. He will use you, abuse you, and destroy you, as long as you play around in his kingdom.

Draw close to God through prayer (Psalm 91:15), giving (Luke 6:38), fasting (Luke 2:37), and living right (Romans 6:13). Praise Him for your salvation that allows you to walk in victory.

Three important factors are at work in the process of possession:
Have faith. Jesus tells us to "have faith in God" (Mark 11:22).
Believe. "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith" (v.23).
Pray. "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (v. 24).

When these elements are combined, they are more powerful than any weapon of war. You are no longer looking at what you have, but what you shall have.

Speak faith into your spirit. Remind yourself of the promises of God. Remember, God "calleth those things which be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17).

Your tongue will either announce your next victory or your next defeat. Speak victory. Refuse to open a door for the enemy's attack with your tongue.

An open letter to Miss California, Carrie Prejean

So, the first thing I did after this was write a letter to that twit of a moron Perez Hilton (http://iliiifieslessons.blogspot.com/2009/04/open-letter-to-perez-hilton.html), which is my own fault, because his fifteen minutes of fame have been over fifteen minutes ago and me even giving him attention only helps his cause, which his to keep the name of a media whore in the news for one more second. So, I’d like to follow it up by writing an open letter to the WOMAN (and those of you who know me KNOW I DO NOT use that term lightly) who got this all started. Now, let me first say that I don’t know her personally and just because she agrees on one thing I agree with does NOT mean she’s THE woman, but she certainly proved she is A WOMAN. Dear Carrie Prejean,

For once in my life I am proud of someone who is representing California. Did I ever think it would come in the form of a pageant contestant? No. Would I have preferred it come from a political official? Certainly, who wouldn’t? However, who better to speak her mind than someone involved in an event that probably gets as much if not more attention than most elections. I don’t know you, you don’t know me, so why would you care about what I say, but I and the people like me are VERY proud of you for standing by what you believe and NOT just saying the popular vote. I don’t know what the new Miss America’s response would’ve been to the question and whether she would’ve made the popular answer or not, but I do know that had you won and said what Perez wanted you to say then you would’ve lost in the long run. I’ve been watching your press run after and I could not be more in awe of you. Thank you for continuing to stand on your beliefs and not backing down to pressure.

We live in a celebrity obsessed world, which is proof in Perez resorting to “reaching out” to REAL celebrities who just like him do what they do and say what they say for the PUBLICITY! I don’t know what he thinks having Miley’s “opinion” on the subject is going to do, but all it does for me is proves that Miley Cyrus is no different than the rest of the media whores who will say what’s popular just to keep themselves in the good eye of the liberal media and public. If anything, what this means is that Miley’s publicist told her what to say and she’s just a puppet like the rest of the celebrities.

What I find sad is that they then accuse people like us of “hate”. We “hate” gays because we believe in the Bible and that marriage is between a man and a woman. We “hate” gays because we don’t agree with their CHOICE of lifestyle. I laugh at these kind of statements because we both know it has NOTHING to do with the gay person personally and everything to do with us doing what we have a RIGHT to do, exercise our God given and constitutional right to express ourselves.

Hypocrites like Perez Hilton who DEMAND respect, acceptance and tolerance that have created a war over personal beliefs. Respect is NOT given, it’s earned. How can we accept people for their beliefs and way of life if they REFUSE to do the same for us? I believe (with a few minor extremist exceptions) we’ve done a great job in tolerating a group of people who DEMAND they be treated equal yet take every chance to make themselves separate and “special”. If you want to be treated as equal, you should start treated yourself as such, am I right?

Now, I don’t know where you stand on other issues, I know nothing of the life you live and the choices you’ve made, but I do know you have the right to believe what you want and live the way you CHOOSE to do so and I respect that right. But, what I DO know is that you had an opportunity to sit on your hands, say what “everybody” (Perez) wanted you to say and become Miss America… INSTEAD you did what I’m so certain you were raised to do, stand up for what you believe. This world needs more WOMEN like you. I’ve placed on you on a short list of WOMEN I admire, so I hope you don’t mind being on the same list as WOMEN like Condoleeza Rice, Ann Coulter and Brigitte Gabriel.

You will forever be in my constant prayers and I hope you continue to be the WOMAN God made you to be. I pray God will bless you for standing up for what you believe and being who you KNOW you are. I may never be blessed enough to meet you in person (as much as I pray I might someday) but I’d like you to know (on the off chance you actually read this) that you’ve motivated me to keep on believing that there still are REAL WOMEN in the world. You’ve inspired me to continue expecting more of the females around me, rather than settling for what is beneath what I deserve. Thank you.

This letter has NOTHING to do with “moral v immoral” “gay v straight”. All it has to do with his the HYPOCRISY expressed by one side towards the other. I respect the right of those who differ from me to believe what they want and act the way they want, but 99% of the time, they don’t give me the same respect and accuse me of “HATE” for simply exercising the same rights they have. The DHS warning entitled: ''Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment'' is so troubling that at first, I actually didn't believe that Homeland Security could issue such a document.

But it's true. We've verified it. And make no mistake, this unconstitutional report raises serious questions about the leadership and direction of the agency charged with protecting Americans in the ongoing battle against terrorism.

Why would the Department of Homeland Security single out groups like pro-life supporters when they should be focusing on identifying and apprehending the real terrorists - like al-Qaeda - groups that have vowed to destroy America?

This characterization is not only offensive to millions of Americans who hold constitutionally-protected views opposing abortion - but also raises serious concerns about the political agenda of an agency with a mandate to protect America.

Unless of course you want to be served by one of the biggest ASSHOLES known to man. I am a HUGE UFC fan and recently found out that Shooters in Glendale shows them for FREE! I called (which by the way took four hours for anybody to answer) to confirm and this should’ve been my first sign of bad things to come. The man answer with “what” (no introduction of any kind).

He then proceded to cut me off at every chance:Me: Are you showing UF…
Him: YES!Me: Is there a cover…
Him: NO!
Me: So I don’t have to buy anything…
Him: NO!Me: Do you know what time the first fight…
Him: Try looking it up for yourself.

So then I arrived about 30 minutes before the event was to begin with a friend and had more friends on the way:

Him: Are you hungry or thirsty?
Me: Excuse me?Him: If you’re hear to watch UFC 97, you have to buy something to watch, you can NOT watch for free.
(Remember, he had told me on the phone I would NOT have to buy anything to watch)
Friend: I’m not hungry, how much are your beers?
Him: 5-6 bucks.
Friend: WOW!
Him: If you don’t like my prices get out…
Friend: No, it’s ok, but it is expensive.
Him: No seriously get out.

So after a few unpleasantries (my friend did call him a jerk, which he was) we left. Of course I then called the rest of my friends and told them to not bother coming. My friend and I then stepped into the Cigar Club next door and even though they weren’t showing the event we had a great time watching the Dallas Mavs game and World Poker Tournament as well as the company of an absolutely beautiful bartender (both in appearance and in kindness). On my way home I walked passed Shooters again ( I have no other choice as I live in that direction and on my way by the bouncer was standing outside, so I stopped, said hello and asked him if he happened to know who won the fight. As we talked the same guy came rushing out and told me to leave (in not so nice words). At that point I didn’t feel like arguing so I walked off. All in all, no matter what Shooters has to offer, whether this man is the owner or just an employee, he’s made Shooters the worst place to go in Glendale and that is saying A LOT!

Hamilton is the judge that said "No" to Jesus but "Yes" to Allah, and is President Obama's first nominee to the federal courts.

Hamilton also personally blocked a reasonable pro-life law that required women seeking abortions to have counseling. And this former ACLU attorney is a favored son of a host of liberal activist groups.

PROTECT MORALITY IN THE US!!!

The Obama Administration’s executive order reversing what’s become known as the Mexico City Policy opened up millions of dollars in federal aid to Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocates to counsel women in developing nations. Pro-life Members of Congress have responded to that unfortunate choice with H.R. 708, a bill to legislatively restore the morally correct policy the administration abandoned.

Sponsored by Rep. Christopher Smith, R-N.J., with 76 co-sponsors at this writing, the bill would codify the sensible policy first implemented by the Reagan administration in 1984 following a population conference in Mexico City. Bill Clinton reversed the policy almost immediately after taking office in 1993, and George W. Bush restored it in 2001. President Obama, by reversing the policy again Jan. 23, put the federal government back in the business of advising women in developing nations to have abortions.

If you believe the federal government has no business telling women that it’s acceptable to end the lives of their unborn babies, you have plenty of company. H.R. 708 would prevent Planned Parenthood and similar organizations from using federal dollars to spread their ideologies overseas – though nothing prevents them from doing so on their own dime. In a nation deeply divided on the issue of abortion, this is the only policy that makes sense, and it has the added benefit of demonstrating respect for nations that abhor abortion even more than America does. Even if you believe that the federal government should be providing family planning services abroad, it’s difficult to argue that taxpayers should be party to a policy that abortion is a legitimate moral choice for women who are faced with an unexpected pregnancy.

Suddenly, it seems, it’s open season on biblical marriage. Will Bible-believing Christians passively accept it, or work to restore the meaning of God’s sacred institution?

On April 3, for the third time in less than a year, a state has substituted its wisdom for that of the people they serve. Iowa became the fourth state to get judicially imposed same-sex marriage, and voters there won’t get a chance to fix their error until at least 2012, if they get the opportunity to fix it at all. Then, on April 7, came a double whammy – Vermont’s state legislature overrode a governor’s veto to pass a law permitting same-sex marriage, and the District of Columbia voted to accept those unions as legitimate marriages.

Each time man chooses his own ways instead of God’s, it makes the point for us – the definition of marriage needs to be settled, once and for all, through a federal constitutional amendment. In Iowa, the seven justices of the state Supreme Court unanimously voted to uphold the 2007 decision of a county judge that invalidated the state’s Defense of Marriage Act, which became law in 1998. The lower court had ruled that a state law defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman violated the state constitution’s equal protection clause. As a result of the high court decision, marriage licenses could be issued to same-sex couples in Iowa as soon as April 24.

The process could be put on hold if officials in Polk County (which includes the state capital of Des Moines) request a re-hearing, but they have said they will not do so. And, because the process for amending the state constitution in Iowa is both more time-consuming than in most states and dependent on the state legislature, corrective action by the public won’t happen until at least 2012 and only then if legislative leaders can be persuaded to permit a public vote – something they don’t seem to be inclined to do at the moment. Same-sex marriage will be the law of the land in Iowa for at least three years.

Vermont became the first state to authorize same-sex marriage without a court order when the state House of Representatives voted 100-49 – the minimum two-thirds majority necessary – to override an April 6 veto by Gov. Jim Douglas. Earlier, the state Senate had easily overridden Douglas’s veto by a 23-5 vote.

The House passed the bill last week by a 95-52 vote, and same-sex marriage advocates had furiously lobbied fence-sitting legislators to vote to override Douglas’s veto, which had been promised. Vermont became the first state in the Union to establish legally recognized civil unions nine years ago.

Almost lost amidst the headlines of Vermont’s legislative vote, the District of Columbia Council voted to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states, as New York has. The decision, which was unanimous, is subject to a final vote next month and then must be approved by Congress. The district already sanctions domestic partnerships between same-sex couples.

What is the Church – the Bible-believing church, the God-honoring church, the stand-up-for-the-sanctity-of-marriage church – going to do in response to these three outrageous actions? The answer will determine, to a great extent, whether the institution of marriage continues to mean anything at all in this nation. For our part, CMC is determined to continue to speak the truth about what marriage is and the damage that enemies of faith and freedom are doing to this institution.

Some thoughts:
- Marriage advocates must admit that we have, at least for the moment, allowed the other side to name the terms of the debate. We have people to define themselves by their sexual choices rather than by any God-given characteristic they possess. It is shameful that we have permitted homosexuals to invoke the language of civil rights to their cause, and it’s unlikely that we will change hearts and minds back to righteousness until it becomes understood once again that homosexuality is behavior, not biology.
- We need a better argument against homosexuality than “it’s icky” – and right now, that’s all the culture seems to be hearing us say. We must convince hearts and minds of the adverse affects of allowing homosexual marriage – and that won’t be difficult given the state of marriage in European nations that have permitted same-sex unions for many years. Our opponents believe we are motivated by hatred for people who practice homosexuality. Judging by our behavior, they have a point. Our attitudes must change and must be typified by a love for a holy God who won’t tolerate sin, including our own.
- The best possible solution to the problem of same-sex marriage remains a federal Marriage Protection Amendment. With each rogue decision coming from state courts and liberal legislative bodies, the MPA is emerging as the only sure way to fix this societal problem.
The battle to restore the traditional definition of marriage suddenly seems more formidable than ever. But don’t be fooled by smug pronouncements like that of The New York Times’ April 5 editorial (written before the Vermont and D.C. actions), which suggested that seven judges in Iowa have now defined morality for the rest of us, and that anyone who disagrees with their action should be ashamed of themselves. Pro-family activists should remember that the vast majority of the American public agrees with us on this issue. In every state where people have had the chance to define marriage God’s way at the ballot box, they ultimately have done so. Congress is lagging behind those they serve, however, and they will need to be convinced that a proposed Marriage Protection Amendment should be released to the state legislatures for their consideration. Rick Warren disavows support for Prop. 8

California mega-church pastor and author of The Purpose Driven Life Rick Warren says he apologized to his homosexual friends for making comments in support of California's Proposition 8, and now claims he "never once even gave an endorsement" of the marriage amendment.

Monday night on CNN's Larry King Live, Pastor Rick Warren apologized for his support of Prop. 8, California's voter-approved marriage protection amendment, saying he has "never been and never will be" an "anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist."

"During the whole Proposition 8 thing, I never once went to a meeting, never once issued a statement, never -- never once even gave an endorsement in the two years Prop. 8 was going," Warren told the CNN audience on Monday. "The week before the -- the vote, somebody in my church said, 'Pastor Rick, what -- what do you think about this?' And I sent a note to my own members that said, I actually believe that marriage is -- really should be defined, that that definition should be -- say between a man and a woman."

However, just two weeks before the November 4 Prop. 8 vote, Pastor Warren issued a clear endorsement of the marriage amendment while speaking to church members. "We support Proposition 8 -- and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8," he said.

The following is a complete transcript of Warren's comments just weeks before the Prop. 8 election:
"The election's coming just in a couple of weeks, and I hope you're praying about your vote. One of the propositions, of course, that I want to mention is Proposition 8, which is the proposition that had to be instituted because the courts threw out the will of the people. And a court of four guys actually voted to change a definition of marriage that has been going for 5,000 years.
"Now let me say this really clearly: we support Proposition 8 -- and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8. I never support a candidate, but on moral issues I come out very clear.
"This is one thing, friends, that all politicians tend to agree on. Both Barack Obama and John McCain, I flat-out asked both of them: what is your definition of marriage? And they both said the same thing -- it is the traditional, historic, universal definition of marriage: one man and one woman, for life. And every culture for 5,000 years, and every religion for 5,000 years, has said the definition of marriage is between one man and a woman.
"Now here's an interesting thing. There are about two percent of Americans [who] are homosexual or gay/lesbian people. We should not let two percent of the population determine to change a definition of marriage that has been supported by every single culture and every single religion for 5,000 years.
"This is not even just a Christian issue -- it's a humanitarian and human issue that God created marriage for the purpose of family, love, and procreation. "So I urge you to support Proposition 8, and pass that word on. I'm going to be sending out a note to pastors on what I believe about this. But everybody knows what I believe about it. They heard me at the Civil Forum when I asked both Obama and McCain on their views."

During his CNN interview on Monday, Warren expressed regret for backing Prop. 8. "There were a number of things that were put out. I wrote to all my gay friends -- the leaders that I knew -- and actually apologized to them. That never got out," he admitted.

Additionally, Pastor Warren said he did not want to comment on or criticize the Iowa Supreme Court's decision last week to legalize same-sex "marriage" because it was "not his agenda."

Bryan Fischer with the Idaho Values Alliance says Warren is abdicating his biblical role as a pastor. "For Pastor Warren to say that shoring up marriage is not something that's on his agenda is just something that's hard to believe for somebody who believes the Bible is our rule for faith and practice," Fischer notes.

Dr. Jim Garlow, the senior pastor of Skyline Wesleyan Church in the San Diego suburb of La Mesa, helped spearhead the Prop. 8 effort in California. Garlow admits he is confused and troubled by Pastor Warren's decision to apologize for supporting Prop. 8.

"Historically when institutions and individuals back away from convictional biblical truth, it is driven primarily by one single factor -- and that is the respectability of other people. In other words, much more caring about what other people think about them than what God thinks about them," he concludes.

If your child's school allows "Day of Silence" propaganda, keep your child at home April 17

The Day of Silence, which is sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), fast approaches. This year it will take place in most public schools on April 17. On this day, thousands of public high schools and increasing numbers of middle schools will allow students to remain silent throughout an entire day-even during instructional time-to promote GLSEN's socio-political goals and its controversial, unproven, and destructive theories on the nature and morality of homosexuality.

Parents must actively oppose this hijacking of the classroom for political purposes. Please join the national effort to restore to public education a proper understanding of the role of government-subsidized schools. You can help de-politicize the learning environment by calling your child out of school if your child's school allows students to remain silent during instructional time on the Day of Silence.

Parents should no longer passively countenance the political usurpation of public school classrooms through student silence.

If students will be permitted to remain silent, parents can express their opposition most effectively by calling their children out of school on the Day of Silence and sending letters of explanation to their administrators, their children’s teachers, and all school board members. One reason this is effective is that most school districts lose money for each student absence.
School administrators err when they allow the classroom to be disrupted and politicized by granting students permission to remain silent throughout an entire day.

Call your local schools and ask whether they permit students or teachers to remain silent in the classroom on “Day of Silence.” IMPORTANT: Do not ask any administrator, school board member, or teacher if the school sponsors, endorses, or supports DOS. Schools do not technically sponsor the Day of Silence. Technically, it is students, often students in the gay-straight alliance, who sponsor it. Many administrators will tell you that they do not sponsor the DOS when, in fact, they do permit students and sometimes even teachers to remain silent during instructional time. Also ask administrators whether they permit teachers to create lesson plans to accommodate student silence.
2. Find out what date the event is planned for your school. (The national date in 2009 is April 17, but some schools observe DOS on a different date).

- A REAL CHRISTIAN is someone who goes to church, reads their Bible, prays and doesn’t WILLINGLY do things the Bible says NOT to do like drinking, doing drugs, smoking, sleeping around, scarring up their body with tattoos and piercings, etc... They put absolutely NOTHING and NO ONE before God.

02) Are you a Republican? YES
- I have nothing against people who are not Republicans, my best friend is a Democrat and I respect her 110%, even if I don’t agree with her way of thinking. But, as much as my personal political beliefs mean to me, I just don’t see myself being able to date let alone spend the rest of my life with someone whose political views differ from my own, but that’s not to say I don’t respect their right to have them.

03) Are you a Conservative? YES
- By which I specifically refer to being pro-life, against embryonic stem cell research, against gay marriage, against secularism, for the death penalty, for the prohibition of drugs, prostitution and euthanasia and for the censorship of pornography.

04) Do you have children? NO
- I’ve got NOTHING against single mothers, I was raised by one, but I have no intention of being any “baby’s daddy” unless they came from my own seed or I CHOOSE to adopt them. Plus being raised by one and dating a few in the past, I’ve realized how bitter, selfish and prideful they are (for the most part) and they have a deep sense of Obama-nism… I mean entitlement. LOL It’s just not worth the energy to deal with their immaturity.

05) Do you drink, do drugs or smoke? NO
- All of which are extremely high signs of insecurity and low self worth and I’m looking for a grown WOMAN, not a little girl trying to act grown up.

06) Do you party/go to clubs? NO
- I’m not going to find a woman of substance in a place full of half naked hoes and the desperate losers trying to get them drunk enough to go home with them, so if this is where you like to go to “have fun” then I know you don't have the maturity I'm looking for in a person.

07) Do you wear clothes that are so tight they look painted on or so low cut they let your butt or chest hang out? NO
- HUGE RED FLAG! This is a girl who has EXTREMELY low self esteem and self worth and is HIGHLY insecure and immature. Even if you do have more to offer than letting your chest and butt hang out, you’ve basically put yourself out there to be looked at and treated like a piece of meat, because you believe (even if its not true) that this is the ONLY way for you to get a guy’s attention.

08) Do you have excessive (more than one) tattoos or piercings (other than your ears)? NO
- I find them EXTREMELY tacky and in very poor taste. Why would anybody take God’s beautiful creation and willingly CHOOSE to scar it up and draw all over it? What makes you different from a brick wall that men tag all over? Of course men don’t defecate all over you like they do a wall, but then again, maybe you’re into that kind of thing.

09) Would you have sex before marriage? NO
- This question isn't asking you "have you had sex?" as much as its asking you "is sex outside of marriage still an option to you?" If you were once a SLUT (yes having sex outside of marriage, whether you're a girl or guy makes you a SLUT!) but now you've changed and no longer treat yourself like a free piece of meat then that's different then the HOE who sleeps with just about every guy who buys her dinner (and some don't even expect that much). If you've had more than one sexual partner and continue to have sex you're a SKANK! Face the facts.

10) Would you live with a guy you weren’t married to? NO
- When I say “live” I don’t mean you live in the same house, but in different rooms and don’t have sex, but seriously, how many couples live in the same house, separate rooms and aren’t having sex? It’s called SHACKING UP. Basically what it amounts to is a little girl who has no self esteem, self respect, class or dignity and feels the only way to keep the guy is to move in with them and the guy has NO RESPECT for her whatsoever. He has even less now that he knows he can get whatever he wants from her for free. She treats herself like trash and that’s how he’ll treat her to, until he gets bored and moves on to the next one.

11) Do you believe in Astrology and follow your Horoscope? NO
- Another RED FLAG! Do you honestly believe that just because you’re a cancer and I’m a libra (I’m not, just an example) that it means we won’t get along? Are you really so stupid? And then, you blame your “sign” for why you have a bad attitude. You have a bad attitude because you’re too immature to handle life, proof is in the fact that you blame the day your mother gave birth to you as to WHY you have said attitude.

12) Do you think you have “haters”? NO
- ANOTHER HUGE RED FLAG! “F**k my haters”… “Hating on me only makes me better”… “I don’t care what my haters say”… and any other cliché statement about your “haters” does the exact OPPOSITE of what you CLAIM you’re trying to do. If you don’t care about your “haters” then why spend one second or inch of your page mentioning them? If I don’t care about something, I wouldn’t even mention them, let alone post random thoughts about them on my page or speak about them for that matter. All that does is show that you DO care about your “haters" and what they think.

13) Do you brag about being “drama free”? NO
- “Drama” is part of life. Life is NOT about being “drama free”, it’s about coming across the “drama” and either running from it or confronting and overcoming it. People who brag about being “drama free” are really saying “I’m a coward who would rather run from my problems than face them and overcome them”.

14) Is keeping your word and a promise something you pride yourself on? YES
- It takes so much effort and energy to keep a lie going. Why tell someone you will or won’t do something, if you’re not sure or know you’re going to do the opposite? It just shows a lack of maturity.

15) Would you lie to a friend to keep from hurting their feelings or to make them feel better? NO
- You obviously don’t really care about this "friend", because if you DID you would tell them what they NEED to hear even if they get mad at you, they’ll appreciate someone who is HONEST with them over someone who feels sorry for them.

16) Do you surround yourself with people who feel sorry for you, tell you what you want to hear and never disagree with you? NO
- RED FLAG ALERT! NOTHING says more about you than the people you surround yourself with and NOTHING says INSECURE more than surrounding yourself with people who blow smoke up your ass and feel sorry for you. You’re only as strong as the people you surround yourself with and as much as surrounding yourself with these people says about you, it says they’re just as weak for putting up with someone like you.

17) Do your friends and family have to like the guy you date for you to date him? NO
- MORE RED FLAG! Girls who have to get their friends or family to approve of someone they’re dating are telling the guy that they’re not just dating the girl, but every member of her family and all of her friends as well, because she’ll go to them and tell them everything and she WILL listen to what they tell her.
18) Do you gossip about people behind their back and complain about how your life is going? NO
- I often wonder what we would be like if we knew that our entire life was being recorded and whenever we mentioned someone, they were automatically able to hear what we say about them. People who gossip are nothing more than insecure little cowards who need to cut down other people to make themselves feel better.

19) Is the physical appearance the first deciding factor to date someone? NO
- SHALLOW! Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those “looks don’t matter” types, because they obviously do. How do you expect to date someone if you’re not attracted to them physically? BUT… if that’s the FIRST thing you care about and can’t move on to other factors if the person doesn’t meet your physical standards than you are SHALLOW!

20) Are you a hypocrite? NO
- The obvious answer to this is “NO, of course not”, right? But ask yourself this question… Why is it you females expect men to accept you exactly the way you are, with all your faults... the good... the bad... the ugly... the very ugly (LOL), but the minute you meet us you begin dissecting why we're not good enough for you? If you want men to accept you for who you are, maybe you should try doing the same.

SPRING BREAK: You get what you deserve

It’s that time again… SPRING BREAK!!! That’s right it’s time for a bunch of half naked hoes who have no self respect, class or dignity to get even more naked and hang out with a bunch of desperate losers who are hoping these girls get drunk enough to sleep with them. Some people call it a “right of passage”. How is going out of the country (usually) and drinking until you pass out and sleeping with people you’ve never met a “right of passage”? We’ve all seen the videos. “Hi mom, I’m glad you can’t see what I’m doing”, while she’s sandwiched between a group of guys pouring alcohol down her throat. For most people, that sounds like a lot of fun, but what about the danger? We all know the dangers of going out of the country and being victim to the dangers of that country. But, you don’t have to go far to find the same dangers. 13 rapes occurred in the state of Kansas alone during Spring Break, 3 murders have already occurred during this Spring Break season. Personally, I feel that the people who put themselves in these situations deserve everything they get. Now, I know that sounds extremely harsh and I’m going to get a lot of “how dare you” from people, but that’s just because they’re denying the truth. How dare these pathetic wastes of life not only embarrass themselves but this country by going down to Mexico and getting drunk off their asses and party it up and then act like nothing happened when they come back. It’s because of pieces of garbage like these people that other countries see this country in a bad light. Don’t believe me? Go down to Mexico, ask around… they’ll tell you how these worthless hoes act while their there. Thankfully there are some of them who are stupid enough to tape themselves and take pictures. Sadly, most of them are proud of what they’re seen doing in the pictures or videos. What they don’t seem to realize is that these pictures and videos will follow them for the rest of their lives. Someday, somehow it will come back to haunt you. But, they don’t care, as long as no one gets hurt right? And even if someone does get hurt, “at least it wasn’t me”, right? So, the next time you wake up and don’t know where you are or what happened… the next time you find out one of your friends was raped or even killed… remind yourself… you got EXACTLY what you deserved.

A Letter to "Vegans" and "Vegetarians"

So, you're a vegan or a vegetarian? The idea of both being to not eat or use anything made of or caused harm to animals in any way. That's interesting. So, you don't EAT or WEAR anything that came from an animal? No meat, eggs, cheese, honey, fish... speaking of fish, how's life without electricity? I mean, fish are killed by the hundreds at dams that create electricity, so I'm sure you being so devoted to your beliefs would never use something that causes so much pain to fish right? So, I’m sure you don’t wear anything made of leather or fur for sure, right? What about wool? Ever seen what sheep go through when being sheered? So, exactly what are your pillows filled with? You would never use a pillow filled with feathers right? I hope you don’t live somewhere cold, because without a down jacket (down being made of baby duck feathers) you must be freezing. Of course I know you don’t eat chocolate or cheeses which are all milk products. I mean a dedicated and devoted person like you would never eat a product that potentially leads to the slaughter of male calves (seeing they only have use of the females). Being a vegan and vegetarian is like being a Christian. The reason there are so many "denominations" today is because groups picked and chose what they liked and kept it and got rid of what they didn't like. Vegans and vegetarians are the same way. You can't honestly tell me you don't use electricity. How about gas? Even seen what gas in its purest form does to animals? Or even the fumes? A TRUE vegan would NEVER use gas and yet you'd be lying if you told me you didn't. I bet if you actually took the time to think about what it means to call yourself a vegan or a vegetarian you'd realize that you are YOUR OPINION of a vegan or vegetarian, but not truly the true definition of either. That's just some food for thought while you're out "shaking your booty" on that dance floor made of wood from trees cut down in a forest that led to hundreds of animals losing their homes and dying just so you could dance on their homes.

RNC Chairman says Abortion is a Choice, Homosexuality is NOT

In a recent interview, Republican National Chairman Michael Steele told GQ magazine that he supports abortion rights. "I think that's an individual choice (to have an abortion)," he said.
GQ: Are you saying you think women have the right to choose abortion?Steele: Yeah. I mean, again, I think that’s an individual choice.GQ: You do?Steele: Yeah. Absolutely.
Steele later issued a statement "clarifying” his comments regarding abortion saying he is “pro-life.”

Steele also disputed the view that being homosexual is a lifestyle choice. "I don't think I've ever really subscribed to that view that you can turn it on and off like a water tap. ...You just can't simply say, oh, like, 'Tomorrow morning I'm gonna stop being gay.' It's like saying 'Tomorrow morning I'm gonna stop being black,'" explained Steele.

Steele said an amendment to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman is a state issue and is “mucking around with the Constitution.”

Manny Ramirez is officially a Dodger again. I’m extremely excited about this, but I certainly could’ve lived without the wait and hoopla. While I don’t believe Manny is worth a five year investment as he wanted, I do believe he’s worthy of being the second highest (even highest) paid player in baseball. I do wonder however if Manny recognizes what he’s gotten himself into. I hope he realizes that the “honeymoon IS over”. Welcome to the land of fair-weather fans Manny. We love you now, but we are a “what have you done for me lately” kind of town. In his short time with the Dodgers last season Manny hit 17 homeruns, 53 RBIs and batted .396; all in 53 games AND he supposedly single handedly took the Dodgers into the playoffs. So, for Manny to remain in good graces LA fans he’ll have to have those kind of numbers by at least midseason. This isn’t going to be easy since LA fans change their minds like a mother changes a newborn’s diaper and whose loyalties change direction like a feather in the wind. And even if he does put up those numbers, that’s still not going to be enough. It is all but set in stone that Antonia Villaraigosa will once again be elected to office of Mayor of the city of Los Angeles. But, my question is why? Why would people want to re-elect to Mayor of Los Angeles a man who’s only spent 11% of his time actually working on improving LA. And of that 11% he’s spent most of it meeting with and listening to the special interest groups that got him elected in the first place. His response to these accusations; “I work hard…that’s why Obama wants me to campaign for him”. No, Mr. Villaraigosa, Mr. Obama wanted you to campaign for him because like you he got elected for being a celebrity NOT because he had any definitive stance on any issue. This is not surprising considering that like Mr. Obama, Mr. Villaraigosa uses the color of his skin to deceive people of the same nationality that he is on their side. How is someone who feels sorry for you and pities you on your side? Rather than educated and training CITIZENS of Los Angeles to get better jobs, Mr. Villaraigosa wants to waist money giving ILLEGAL Mexicans a free pass into California and have tax payers pay for Welfare for these illegal immigrants. How is someone who is a proud MECHISTA (what a joke) on California’s side? Help me understand something else. Mr. Villaraigosa’s defense against being accused of spending only 11% of his time working in LA is to boast about how he spent his time away from LA campaigning for Obama? Sounds like an empty defense to me, and are people stupid enough to buy into it? The gullibility of “Angelinos” and “Californians” alike never ceases to amaze. On a recent interview, Mr. Villaraigosa defending his being out of Los Angeles so much by saying “I’ve worked hard from the day I was sworn in and I will unto my last day…” Let’s make that day sooner than he thinks, because being the mayor of Los Angeles should involve more than just “working” on the first and last days you’re in office and the job should go to someone who actually cares enough to stay in the city rather than worrying about the next office they’ll be running for. WHEN (not if) Mr. Villaraigosa abandons Los Angeles to run for Governor of California, he will be leaving Los Angeles in the hands of someone who is even less prepared to take over (which is hard to believe but true), so why not elect a Mayor who isn’t planning on abandoning you for the next job? Do not waste your vote on another step ladder politician. PLEASE DO NOT VOTE FOR “The 11% Mayor”. Even more disgusting are these ads toting how crime has gone down during Villaraigosa’s term as mayor. These half truths are what lead us to elect a man not prepared to run his own state let alone this country. While it IS true that the MURDER rate has gone down, it is ALSO true that ALL other VIOLENT CRIMES have gone UP, including RAPE, theft, assault, etc… I wonder what Mr. Villaraigosa has to say about this? We wouldn’t know, since he REFUSES to debate anybody he’s running against. I guess Mr. Villaraigosa and Chief Bratton don’t consider the fact that rape has doubled every year for the last several years a problem. Throughout a man’s search for what will eventually be his life mate, he meets ONE MILLION (give or take LOL) females. Out of those one million females are 900,000 females, which I call GIRLS who won’t even give a guy the time of day unless they find something physically attractive about him. Out of the remaining 100,000 are 90,000 females that believe that just because a guy is trying to talk to them, it means they’re trying to sleep with them. I call these females (and yes this WILL offend) HOOKERS. Yes, that’s offensive isn’t it? Well, I’m sorry females, but I’m only treating you the way you treat yourselves. When you A S Sume that just because I’m trying to talk to you it means I’m trying to sleep with you, YOU are already limiting YOURSELF to believe that ALL I could ever possibly see in you is your body. From the remaining 10,000 females you have 5,000 that I like to call MEAT; another derogatory term, but deservedly so. Out of the 750 females left, take away the females who would sleep with a man on the first date (or within the first year of knowing him for that matter) and the females who would live with a man before they’re married (and are stupid enough to wonder why he doesn’t respect you) and the females who can’t go out without having to drink and the females who CHOOSE NOT to speak proper English and the females who CHOOSE to curse when talking and the females who let their Zodiac sign dictate whether or not they’d get along with someone, the females who’s life motto is some pathetic cliché statement like “I hate drama” or “I’m drama free” or “Only God can judge me”, the IGNORANT and SUPERFICIAL, the IMMATURE and SHALLOW, the INSECURE and SUPERFICIAL and a man will MAYBE have met 100 females in his lifetime that can truly be defined as WOMEN. Out of those 100 WOMEN, a man will be blessed enough to meet TEN WOMEN who also deserve to be called LADIES. These LADIES are WOMEN he knows he can trust and knows trust him. Out of these TEN LADIES, a man is truly blessed IF he can find FIVE LADIES he can also call his FRIENDS. These FRIENDS are LADIES that deserve his respect and have EARNED (respect is NOT given, but EARNED) his respect in return. A man will know he found favor in God’s eyes if out of those FIVE FRIENDS he can meet the ONE who EARNS the title of WIFE.

30 YEARS OF BIBLE LIES!!!

30 years… That’s how many years Satan has been able to deceive so called “Christians” with the poor excuse for a Bible known as the NIV (New International Version) Bible. For 30 years Satan has been able to convince “Christians” that this watered down “translation” of the Bible was “easier” to read and therefore better to understand God’s word. Can anybody please explain to me how a rewritten piece of literature that removed over 200 scriptures from the original text of the Bible makes it “easier” to understand God’s word? How can changing the definitive words used in the original text of the Bible to vague loose words used in the NIV help someone attempting to obey God’s commandments in doing so? Maybe, removing 200 scriptures doesn’t count for much to you. Maybe vagueness helps you in living the life you CHOOSE to live. But, do you also CHOOSE to ignore the fact that in Isaiah 14:12, Lucifer’s name is replaced with “Morning Star”, a name given to ONLY Jesus Christ? If you don’t find a book that replaces Satan’s name with Christ’s name appalling then I don’t know what it would take to convince you of the danger you’re CHOOSING to walk into.

I’m not surprised that people would want to read the NIV Bible. These are probably the same people who believe the lie the NIV teaches that “all who hear God’s word are saved”. It isn’t enough to just “hear” God’s word (Ephesians 1:13), you MUST believe it, receive and SPEAK IT with FAITH (Romans 10:9-10). How powerful is removing a sing word? The NIV removes words such as “Godhead”, “mercyseat”, “remission”, “Jehovah”, “omnipotent”, “Comforter”, “Holy Ghost”, “Messiah, “infallible and MANY more. So, I ask again, how powerful is removing a single word? How about “begotten”? The NIV removes this word from one of the most famous scriptures in the Bible, John 3:16. I guess this would make sense if I were a Mormon who believed that Jesus was only ONE of God’s MANY children or a Jehovah’s Witness who believes that Satan and Jesus are brothers.

II Timothy 2:15 teaches us to STUDY God’s word so that we know what is and is NOT the right way to live the life God wants us to live, but in the NIV Bible “study” is replaced with “do your best”? “Do your best”? “We all have to sin a little”? “It’s hard to be a Christian”? “Nobody can obey ALL Ten Commandments”? Do you see a pattern here? No wonder “Christians” make every excuse in the world not to obey God’s word, because after all “I’m just doing my best”. Imagine there’s a leak in a dam and if it’s not fixed the dam will break and the water will flood a city and kill everybody. If you’re the one in charge of hiring the person to fix it are you going to find just anybody and tell them “do your best”? Are you going to tell a heart surgeon to “do your best”?

What about I Timothy 6:20 which warns us against “science” that claims itself to be fact, but in reality is FALSE? The NIV removes any reference to “science”. Now can you think of any reason why Satan would remove a scripture warning against “false science” **cough**evolution**cough**? If that’s not enough for you, the NIV actually completely changes Philippians 2:6 from Jesus being EQUAL to God to Jesus NOT being equal to God. Is it no wonder that God warns us of those who would change God’s TRUTH into a LIE (Romans 1:25)? Satan has gone out of his way to hide the TRUTH of God’s word, so that those who are lost would remain lost. (II Corinthians 4:3-4).

Already discussed is the fact that the NIV removes the idea of Jesus being God’s ONLY Son, removes Jesus and God being EQUAL and at times doesn’t differentiate between Satan and Jesus, but there’s more. Jesus was, is and will be forever (Hebrews 13:8) but in NIV’s version of Micah 5:2 limits Jesus to having a specific time of origin. More than that, the NIV turns God manifesting himself in flesh into him simply appearing in “a body”(I Timothy 3:16). Well, it’s no wonder there’s been so many lunatics claiming to be Christ. And guess what, the Bible warns us about this as well (Luke 21:8). As a Christian, one of our foundations in believing in Christ is the belief in the “virgin birth”, correct? Well, the NIV Bible doesn’t seem to believe in it; they’ve made JOSEPH the “father” of Jesus, not God. “What can wash away my sins, NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS”. Have you ever heard that song? Well, it’s true, but not if you read the NIV Bible, because the NIV completely removes the power of Christ’s blood from scripture (Hebrews 9:22).

So, does any of that convince you? Well then, maybe this will. Zondervan Publishers, the company that publishes the NIV Bible is OWNED by Harper Collins who ALSO publishes the SATANIC BIBLE and the JOY OF GAY SEX. Well, how convenient is that? Harper Collins is a subsidiary of News Corp., owned by Rupert Murdock. News Corp.’s empire includes FOX Broadcasting which produces some of the most sexually lewd shows on television as well as the British newspaper the Sun, notorious for its nude pin-ups. What’s wrong with that right? They’re just businesses. So, I guess Amos 3:3 is “just a scripture” that plainly says “Can two walk together, except they be agreed”. How can the Bible be in agreement with such filth producers such as these two companies? What about when Christ plainly says that something CORRUPT cannot produce anything good (Matthew 7:17-18)? What does the Bible have in common with these companies (II Corinthians 6:14)?

The agenda of the NIV Bible is clear, to minimize the power and deity of Christ, to turn the black and white definitive message of the Bible into several vague shades of gray and to minimize the fact that God DEMANDS us to be separate from the world and from SIN! The New International Version Bible is NOT a complete Bible. The NIV is NOT THE BIBLE! The ONLY complete and correctly translated Bible was, is and will always ONLY be the KING JAMES VERSION. The KJV is the ONLY Bible that lines up word for word with not only every authenticated Biblical manuscript, but also with history, science and geography. Now I know… the KJV is so very hard to understand… wait, no it isn’t. According to a Grade Level research study done by Flesch-Kincaid the KJV read EASIER than any other translation of the Bible. Is it not both funny and amazing then that the King James Bible is the ONLY Bible that is not owned by a man or company? The King James Bible has NO COPYRIGHT ownership, but rather its copyright is the CROWN COPYRIGHT which allows it to be published by ANYONE, ANYTIME for ANY REASON. The King James Version is the ONLY Bible not BOUND by man (II Timothy 2:9).

An Obama-Reagan presidency?

What's the state of the republic — and its citizens — this Presidents Day 2009? It is a state of deep confusion. Here are some polls to ponder, as America considers presidents past and new. Brace yourself. Before he was elected president, Senator Barack Obama was ranked the most liberal member of a very liberal U.S. Senate by the respected, non-partisan National Journal, which is famous for its rankings of members of Congress. In short, then, a decisive majority of Americans elected as president the most liberal major presidential candidate in the history of the republic. This was unprecedented.

To many of us, including myself, this suggested that Americans had drifted to the left. It turns out that they have not. Consider some other surveys: For a long time now, thanks to the Reagan presidency, Americans have called themselves "conservative" rather than "liberal" by margins of roughly two-to-one. In 2000, the year George W. Bush was elected president, 18 percent of Americans said they were liberal vs. 36 percent who said they were conservative (38 percent opted for the moderate label). This has been consistent for quite a while. Generally, self-identified liberals have hovered around 20 percent, while conservatives have ranged in the upper-30 percent, sometimes above 40 percent. Surely that must have changed in 2008, right — with the election of Obama? No. In 2008, despite Obama winning the presidency by 54 to 46 percent, 21 percent of Americans said they were liberal vs. 38 percent who said they were conservative (36 percent chose moderate). Although both liberals and conservatives alike picked up small gains; the difference between 2000 and 2008 was virtually identical. If that seems contradictory for a nation that voted for a man from the far left as president...well, that's because it is. But that's nothing compared to the inconsistencies in another poll: A nationwide survey by Clarus Research Group asked American voters which president should be the model for Barack Obama in shaping his presidency. One would expect Americans to pick a liberal president — since, of course, Obama is a liberal. Perhaps FDR, LBJ, Jimmy Carter. Instead, the top choice was America's most conservative president: Ronald Reagan. How could that be? Answer: it cannot. It is impossible. Barack Obama cannot model his presidency after that of Ronald Reagan. The two are irreconcilable. A large square cannot fit into a tiny circle. You cannot take a president who is a paragon of liberalism and one who was a paragon of conservatism and match them ideologically. That's not fair to Obama. In fact, Obama would not want to do that, nor would his staff — nor would Ronald Reagan. If that's not bad enough, the contradictions get worse when you look at policy issues. Pick your poison — here's one: An October Marist poll found that only a sliver of Americans, 8 percent, favor allowing abortion at any reason at any stage of pregnancy. Well, those same Americans just elected a man who is seeking to remove any abortion restrictions whatsoever (Freedom of Choice Act) — including those agreed to by bipartisan legislatures all over America — possibly removing freedom-of-conscience exemptions for medical workers who refuse to participate in abortions, seeking federal funding of abortion, abortion in military hospitals, repeal of the Hyde Amendment, taxpayer funding to promote and perform abortion overseas (already done by executive order), etc., etc. Senator Obama had a 100 percent pro-choice rating from NARAL and a 0 percent pro-life rating from National Right to Life. That's one policy issue. I could cite other divergent numbers on taxes and government spending, but I don't want to send you running for a straightjacket. Indeed, this is positively maddening. How can Americans believe red and vote blue? It begs a troubling, indelicate question for both liberals and conservatives alike: Can we trust the American public to vote rationally? That may seem harsh, even condescending, but it is an inescapable consideration given the data. The data is particularly a jolt to Reagan Republicans. Ronald Reagan frequently declared that you can always trust the American people to make the right decisions. Of course, that assumes a knowledgeable, well-informed public — educated by schools and media that are genuinely balanced in exposing a wide variety of points of view. It also assumes a citizenry that votes according to ideas or ideology. Apparently, for many Americans, those things did not happen on November 4, 2008. It also means that despite President Obama's sizable margin of victory, he did not get a mandate — certainly not a liberal mandate. The public, at best, gave him a mandate for some sort of "change," but not a change to the left. Where does this leave us this Presidents Day? Good question.

Pro-marriage speech garners professor's profane wrath

After being called a "fascist" by his professor, a Christian California student has filed suit against his college for violations of his free-speech rights.

Less than a month after voters in California decided to amend their state constitution and protect traditional marriage, Jonathan Lopez -- in a public speaking class -- shared his beliefs on faith and marriage. David French of the Alliance Defense Fund picks up the story. "Jonathan talked about his faith -- and one of the things he talked about in context of his faith was...marriage," says French. "He read from the dictionary definition of marriage. The professor stopped the class, called him a 'fascist b_____d' -- [he] used the expletive -- [and] told the class that anyone who wanted to could leave if they were offended...." According to an ADF press release, when no one got up to leave, the instructor simply dismissed the class, effectively ending Lopez's speech -- which violated the student's free-speech rights, adds the attorney, especially since other students made speeches on other subjects. Religious speech, notes French, apparently was excluded from the open-ended speech assignment. "You just cannot shut down student speech like that," states French, who explains that Lopez was well within the confines of his professor's assignment, and that the professor's actions not only constitute viewpoint discrimination but also comprise "retaliation" because he disagreed with Lopez's religious beliefs. According to the ADF attorney, the professor was not yet finished. "When [Lopez later] complained about what was an obvious act of censorship, he was threatened with expulsion by that same professor," he says. The speech professor is identified as John Matteson of Los Angeles Community College. ADF reports that after Proposition 8 (the marriage-related constitutional amendment) was approved on November 4, Matteson told his entire class: "If you voted yes on Proposition 8, you are a fascist b_____d." Ultimately Matteson refused to grade Lopez's November 24 speech, and wrote on the evaluation: "Ask God what your grade is."

Central Michigan University is being sued after one of their women's basketball players said she was kicked off the team due to her heterosexuality.

Brooke Heike was a high school basketball star who was aggressively sought after by several colleges that wanted the league MVP from Washington Township, Michigan, to continue her record-breaking rebounding and shot-blocking skills on their campus. After leading her team to its first conference title in 18 years as a high school senior, the 6-foot-2 forward decided to attend Central Michigan University, which offered her a full scholarship. But Heike says she fell out of favor in 2007 with CMU's new women's basketball head coach, Sue Guevara, and was eventually kicked off the team. She claims the coach, who is allegedly lesbian, took issue with her heterosexuality. Cindy Rhodes Victor of the Victor Firm, PLLC is representing Heike. Victor says Heike was an excellent basketball player. She adds that her teammates liked her, but still Heike's coach refused to help her out. Heike ended up hiring independent trainers to help her. According to Heike's attorney, cancellation of elementary education major's scholarship came as a surprise. "She wasn't even told ever that her scholarship was in jeopardy or that her position was in jeopardy," says Victor. "Out of the blue she gets a letter from the financial aid office that says your scholarship's gone." A teammate then told the 20-year-old that "the coach announced yesterday that you were off the team because you're not happy." CMU representatives refused a request for an interview, but instead emailed OneNewsNow a statement saying they are familiar with the allegations and that they will defend their position in court. According to the case file, the coach in question was fired from a coaching job at another school in 2003. Team members at that school accused Sue Guevara of similar actions.

President Obama's stimulus bill discriminates against Christians and people of faith. The stimulus bans universities and colleges from using funds to renovate buildings where students engage in "religious worship."U.S. Senator Jim DeMint made the following statement after Democrats voted 43-54 against his amendment to strike from the economic stimulus bill language that discriminates against people of faith. Senator DeMint's amendment would have eliminated a provision that bans any university or college receiving restoration funds, from allowing "sectarian instruction" or "religious worship" within the facility. This would in effect bar use of campus buildings for groups like Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Campus Crusade for Christ, Catholic Student Ministries, Hillel and other religious organizations."This is a direct attack on students of faith, and I'm outraged Democrats are using an economic stimulus bill to promote discrimination," said Sen. DeMint. "Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for siding with the ACLU over millions of students of faith. These students simply want equal access to public facilities, which is their constitutional right. This hostility toward religion must end. Those who voted for this discrimination are standing in the schoolhouse door to keep people of faith from entering any campus building renovated by this bill."This is now an ACLU stimulus designed to trigger lawsuits designed to intimidate religious organizations across the nation. This language is so vague, it's not clear if students can even pray in a dorm room renovated with this funding since that is a form of 'religious worship.' Milford Central School Supreme Court decision, the court ruled that restricting religious speech within the context of public shared-use facilities (or schools) is unconstitutional.Pages 164-165 of the stimulus contain the following prohibitions on the use of $3.5 billion available for renovation of public or private college and university facilities.

(2) PROHIBITED USES OF FUNDS. No funds awarded under this section may be used for - (C) modernization, renovation, or repair of facilities (i) used for sectarian instruction, religious worship, or a school or department of divinity; or (ii) in which a substantial portion of the functions of the facilities are subsumed in a religious mission; or construction of new facilities.

Fairness Doctrine

NASHVILLE - Christian broadcasters have vowed to keep preaching the gospel regardless of social, political, or regulatory opposition.

At the first convention of the National Religious Broadcasters since the November election, NRB president Frank Wright said, "The proclamation of the gospel is now opposed at every quarter. In the political arena, in the cultural context, in forces of the regulatory arena and the legislative environment -- all these forces today seem to be arrayed against the gospel."
But Dr. Wright said the NRB board has issued a declaration pledging to "obey the command of Christ to preach the gospel, even if human governments and institutions attempt to oppose, constrain, or prohibit it."
Christian broadcasters have expressed concern that a revived "Fairness Doctrine" might force them to air anti-Christian responses to their programs. They also worry that proposed hate crimes laws -- such as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) -- could be used against stations whose broadcasts say Jesus is the only way to God or that homosexuality is sinful.

Before the November elections, Wright expressed doubt that Congress would revive the Fairness Doctrine. But he warned that it could happen if Democrats won both the White House and solid majorities in both houses of Congress. That is indeed what has happened.

Two administrative judges on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in California have ruled the U.S. government must pay health benefits to the same-sex partners of two federal lawyers -- one of whom is on the 9th Circuit's staff.

In one of the rulings, Judge Stephen Reinhardt stated that the government's refusal to grant those benefits amounted to unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex and sexual orientation. Neither a "distaste for or disapproval of same-sex marriage" justifies denial of federal benefits, Reinhardt stated. Chief Judge Alex Kozinski issued the ruling in the other case. According to Brad Dacus of the Pacific Justice Institute (PJI), there is another interesting part of the rulings. "The 9th Circuit judges in that administrative matter ruled that the Defense of Marriage Act [DOMA] was unconstitutional and that it had no rational basis," he explains. Dacus suggests that is not a role for federal judges because it usurps authority of another branch of government. "Unfortunately the 9th Circuit has refused to respect the legislative branch and its authority to decide how benefits are to be given and appropriated," says the PJI president. The ruling only impacts the two federal employees involved in the administrative action, and likely will be appealed. But it does fit into President Obama's plan for DOMA, says Dacus. "This action by these two 9th Circuit justices will only give greater momentum to efforts on Capitol Hill to reverse DOMA and to start requiring federal taxpayer dollars to subsidize homosexual relationships," he laments. Indeed, an attorney with Lambda Legal -- a pro-homosexual legal group -- told the Daily Journal in California that the judges' orders will become part of her group's "national conversation" on behalf of same-sex couples.

Obama decisions putting America at risk

The column below by John Yoo, which appeared last Thursday in the Wall Street Journal, analyzes some of the decisions President Obama made in his first week as commander-in-chief.

Taken together, these decisions, as Yoo notes, “will seriously handicap our intelligence agencies from preventing future terrorist attacks.”

For instance, interrogators of terrorist suspects will be so restrained in their tactics that they won’t even be able to use “good cop/bad cop” techniques commonly used by police officers. In other words, interrogation tactics which have been legally used on our own citizens are, in Obama’s new world order of fighting terrorism, too extreme to be used on terrorist suspects.

This absurdity would be laughable if it weren’t so dangerous.

For the past few years Democrats assailed President Bush’s foreign policies, arguing that they made us “less safe.” Whatever one thinks of those policies, one incontrovertible fact remains: No terrorist attack was successfully executed in America on the President’s watch after 9/11.

According to intelligence experts one reason is the coercive interrogation techniques used to extract information from terrorist suspects and enemy combatants. With those now effectively jettisoned from our arsenal of self-defense, President Obama has put the nation at greater risk.

Obama Made a Rash Decision on Gitmo

The president will soon realize that governing involves hard choices.

During his first week as commander in chief, President Barack Obama ordered the closure ofGuantanamo Bay and terminated the CIA's special authority to interrogate terrorists.

While these actions will certainly please his base -- gone are the cries of an "imperial presidency" -- they will also seriously handicap our intelligence agencies from preventing future terrorist attacks. In issuing these executive orders, Mr. Obama is returning America to the failed law enforcement approach to fighting terrorism that prevailed before Sept. 11, 2001. He's also drying up the most valuable sources of intelligence on al Qaeda, which, according to CIA Director Michael Hayden, has come largely out of the tough interrogation of high-level operatives during the early years of the war.

The question Mr. Obama should have asked right after the inaugural parade was: What will happen after we capture the next Khalid Sheikh Mohammed or Abu Zubaydah? Instead, he took action without a meeting of his full national security staff, and without a legal review of all the policy options available to meet the threats facing our country.

What such a review would have made clear is that the civilian law-enforcement system cannot prevent terrorist attacks. What is needed are the tools to gain vital intelligence, which is why, under President George W. Bush, the CIA could hold and interrogate high-value al Qaedaleaders. On the advice of his intelligence advisers, the president could have authorized coercive interrogation methods like those used by Israel and Great Britain in their antiterrorism campaigns. (He could even authorize waterboarding, which he did three times in the years after 9/11.)

Mr. Obama has also ordered that all military commission trials be stayed and that the case of Ali Saleh al-Marri, the only al Qaeda operative now held on U.S. soil, be reviewed. This seems a prelude to closing the military commissions down entirely and transferring the detainees' cases to U.S. civilian courts for prosecution under ordinary criminal law. Military commission trials have been used in most American wars, and their rules and procedures are designed around the need to protect intelligence sources and methods from revelation in open court.

It's also likely Mr. Obama will declare terrorists to be prisoners of war under the Geneva Conventions. The Bush administration classified terrorists -- well supported by legal and historical precedent -- like pirates, illegal combatants who do not fight on behalf of a nation and refuse to obey the laws of war.

The CIA must now conduct interrogations according to the rules of the Army Field Manual, which prohibits coercive techniques, threats and promises, and the good-cop bad-cop routines used in police stations throughout America. Mr. Obama has also ordered that al Qaeda leaders are to be protected from "outrages on personal dignity" and "humiliating and degrading treatment" in accord with the Geneva Conventions. His new order amounts to requiring -- on penalty of prosecution -- that CIA interrogators be polite. Coercive measures are unwisely banned with no exceptions, regardless of the danger confronting the country.

Eliminating the Bush system will mean that we will get no more information from captured al Qaeda terrorists. Every prisoner will have the right to a lawyer (which they will surely demand), the right to remain silent, and the right to a speedy trial.

The first thing any lawyer will do is tell his clients to shut up. The KSMs or Abu Zubaydahs of the future will respond to no verbal questioning or trickery -- which is precisely why the Bush administration felt compelled to use more coercive measures in the first place. Our soldiers and agents in the field will have to run more risks as they must secure physical evidence at the point of capture and maintain a chain of custody that will stand up to the standards of a civilian court.

Relying on the civilian justice system not only robs us of the most effective intelligence tool to avert future attacks, it provides an opportunity for our enemies to obtain intelligence on us. If terrorists are now to be treated as ordinary criminals, their defense lawyers will insist that the government produce in open court all U.S. intelligence on their client along with the methods used by the CIA and NSA to get it. A defendant's constitutional right to demand the government's files often forces prosecutors to offer plea bargains to spies rather than risk disclosure of intelligence secrets.

Zacarias Moussaoui, the only member of the 9/11 cell arrested before the attack, turned his trial into a circus by making such demands. He was convicted after four years of pretrial wrangling only because he chose to plead guilty. Expect more of this, but with far more valuable intelligence at stake.

It is naïve to say, as Mr. Obama did in his inaugural speech, that we can "reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals." That high-flying rhetoric means that we must give al Qaeda -- a hardened enemy committed to our destruction -- the same rights as garden-variety criminals at the cost of losing critical intelligence about real, future threats.

Government policy choices are all about trade-offs, which cannot simply be wished away by rhetoric. Mr. Obama seems to have respected these realities in his hesitation to end the NSA's electronic surveillance programs, or to stop the use of predator drones to target individual al Qaeda leaders.

But in his decisions taken so precipitously just two days after the inauguration, Mr. Obama may have opened the door to further terrorist acts on U.S. soil by shattering some of the nation's most critical defenses.

Mr. Yoo is a law professor at the University of California, Berkeley and a visiting professor at Chapman Law School. He was an official in the Justice Department from 2001-03 and is a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.

A media watchdog organization says President Barack Obama has begun an assault on conservative talk radio.

The Media Research Center (MRC) reveals President Obama took a shot at conservative talk-radio king Rush Limbaugh when he warned GOP leaders last week: "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done."

The MRC says the attack came during a meeting on Capitol Hill held to discuss the president's hefty $1 trillion stimulus package. Tim Graham, director of media analysis at the MRC, sees this as a first step in a war against conservative talk radio.

That is the case, says Graham, "whether you undercut its effectiveness by trying to tell Republican leaders not to listen to it, or whether you put people in charge of the Federal Communications Commission who start investigating what they can do to ensure some sort of a 'Fairness Doctrine,' in the old terminology."

Graham believes that could mean requiring stations to provide more local programming, which could force some conservative shows off the air. He points out they could also intimidate stations into balancing their programming by airing unsuccessful liberal talk shows.

According to the media analyst, other tactics could be employed under the Fairness Doctrine to dilute the influence of conservative radio. "We've suggested that the Fairness Doctrine is, in a sense, a recession doctrine for radio. Let's take the profitable host and right next to that show, we're going to put a show with no listeners," he explains. "Or you may end up delaying them -- so instead of having sort of that 'murderers row' [lineup] like Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, you're like, 'Oh Limbaugh, then we've got to have two or three hours of liberals. Then we'll get to Hannity, and then it will be bedtime.'"

If Obama had his way, argues Graham, President Obama would have all Americans reading The New York Times and listening to Air America.

A United Nations watchdog is concerned about the agenda of the recent World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland.

According to Cliff Kincaid, president of America's Survival, recently confirmed U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is being urged to lay the foundation for "global governance" by considering "international taxation" measures to loot more money from U.S. taxpayers.

Kincaid says the idea of a global IRS was included in the report The Global Agenda 2009, which was discussed at the recently concluded World Economic Forum in Davos.

"Most Americans have lost thousands and thousands of dollars, perhaps hundreds of thousands of dollars, because of the destruction of their retirement accounts and personal savings," notes Kincaid.

"And yet on top of that we've got these global players in Davos talking about global taxes? A global IRS?" he wonders. "Maybe Geithner is going to run that, too. These things are being discussed out in the open at these global meetings."

Kincaid points out that The Global Agenda 2009 report argues "sovereign states do not adequately address problems reaching across borders" and that "international taxation" may be needed to generate "the additional resources" for global governance.

A brief glimmer of sanity among Congressional Republicans has been followed, almost immediately, by a return to the more traditional Washington insanity.

Last week, every single Republican in the House of Representatives voted against the Obama administration's "stimulus" package -- which had stimulated an orgy of runaway spending by Congressional Democrats on everything from sports arenas to sexually transmitted diseases.

This was a rare smart move by the Republicans. If the Republicans had gone along, pursuing the will o' the wisp of "bipartisanship," then if the stimulus had by some miracle succeeded, it would have been a bill for which Democrats would claim credit at the next election.

On the other hand, if the stimulus failed -- which seems far more likely -- then it would be called a "bipartisan" bill, meaning that the Democrats would pay no price at the next election for a colossal failure.

Since President Bush started the "stimulus package" game, this was also an opportunity for Congressional Republicans to cut themselves loose from the political baggage of the Bush administration's unpopularity.

Within 24 hours, however, Republicans in the Senate came out with a plan to have the government fix mortgage interest rates at four percent -- and use taxpayers' money to cover the losses that lenders would otherwise sustain.

It is painfully obvious that government intervention in the housing markets over the past several years has been at the heart of the boom and bust that has led to a huge economic downturn.

It was not the market, but the government, that pushed for abandoning traditional standards for making mortgage loans. That was what got both borrowers and lenders way out on a limb -- and set off economic shock waves when the limb broke.

The last time the Republicans pushed for price controls was during the Nixon administration. It was very popular in the short run. But, in the long run, even Nixon admitted in his memoirs that it was bad for the country.

Price controls have been tried and failed, in countries around the world, going all the way back to ancient Rome and Babylon. Moreover, politicians intervening in the economy is the hallmark of Democrats.

What principle separates the Republicans from the Democrats? If they are just Tweedledee and Tweedledum, then elections come down to personality and rhetoric. If that happens, you can bet the rent money on the Democrats winning.

Those considered to be the smart money among Republicans have been saying for some time that the party has to become more "inclusive" and jettison "outmoded" principles of the Reagan era. But no one has to pass an IQ test to be considered part of the smart money.

Looking at the track record, rather than the rhetoric, the smart money doesn't look nearly as smart.

When have the Republicans won big? When they stood for something and told the people what that something was.

Ronald Reagan was the classic example. But another example would be the stunning Republican victories in the 1994 Congressional elections, which put them in control of the House of Representatives for the first time in 40 years.

Articulating the message of Newt Gingrich's "contract for America" was a key to that historic victory.

Too many Republicans seem to think that being "inclusive" means selling out your principles to try to attract votes. It never seems to occur to them that you can attract a wider range of voters by explaining your principles in a way that more people understand.

That is precisely what Reagan did and what Gingrich did in 1994. Most Americans' principles are closer to those of the Republicans than to those of the Democrats.

It is the only advantage the Republicans have. The Democrats have the media, the unions, the environmental extremists and the tort lawyers on their side. Why should Republicans throw away their one advantage by becoming imitation Democrats?

I know one day I’ll understand why you turned your back on me, but I still don’t and since you left without even a goodbye it makes it even more difficult to understand. I may never understand your reason for doing it, but I know you did it for yourself and as long as you’re happy then that’s all that matters. I know that what Satan meant for evil God has used for good and I’m stronger now than I ever thought I could be. Thank you again for being in my life… even if it was such a short amount of time. We will never be friends again, nor will we ever speak again, but I know that God put you in my life and for that I am grateful. Brad Mattes, executive director of Life Issues Institute, says the Freedom of Choice Act, or FOCA, is a dangerous bill that President Barack Obama has promised to sign. "FOCA, the Freedom of Choice Act, would kick to the curb every protective law that has been passed by Congress, state legislatures, or local communities," he explains.

FOCA would promote partial-birth abortion and ban parental-notification laws, according to Mattes. However, he has not lost hope. "If FOCA is brought through committee and to the floor of the House and the Senate as an entire bill, I think our chances are better at stopping it," he notes.

Mattes says those chances diminish if it is attached to other bills piecemeal. He points out it is vital for the grassroots voice to be heard.

"That's why this petition against FOCA is so critically important to fighting it because no matter what form it takes, we need to let Congress know that a majority of Americans oppose this radical pro-abortion agenda," he concludes.

“Why leave the children to a stranger?”

Those are the last words written by Ervin Lupoe before killing his five children, his wife and finally himself. Why? The answer is simple, because a stranger would probably not be as much of a coward as you Mr. Lupoe. Ervin Lupoe and his wife Ana had recently been fired from Kaiser Permanente and instead of manning up and finding new jobs they took the cowards’ way out. According to the letter Ervin Lupoe sent into a local news station, he and his wife had agreed that this was the best plan of action.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are suffering tough economic times, but its not because there’s a lack of jobs, it’s because there’s a rise of people like Ervin Lupoe who refuse to take another job once they lose the one they had. Ervin Lupoe could’ve easily looked for a job in another industry, but like most people today if it’s not the exact job they want, they think they’re above finding something else. I have no sympathy for someone like Ervin Lupoe, but neither do I have sympathy for someone who refuses to work just because the jobs they’re being offered don’t fit into a preconceived box of what they want to be doing. Nobody is beyond learning a new trade or skill or taking a job that anybody could do until they find the one they really are looking for.

Ervin Lupoe is an extreme case and his cowardly act stole the lives of five beautiful children. But, how many people continue to milk millions of dollars in welfare from the government and those of us who pay taxes to supply these programs? When instead they could be working a job they may not like, but will take in the meantime because they take pride in earning their money rather sitting at home getting paid to do nothing. Our economy is suffering because of shady banks and businesses that spent billions of dollars and then expected the government to bail them out, which sent us further into debt. Add to that the fact that we’ve somehow blindly elected the man who took charge of helping these businesses get out of debt (because putting money in their pockets meant putting money in his own pockets) and there seems to be no end in sight of this “economic crisis”.

The solution is simple… WORK! Work or don’t eat; that’s what the Bible says. Don’t sit at home, doing nothing, waiting for your welfare check. Go out, get a job and take pride in the fact that as bad as the economy is right now, at least we’re still in the United States of America and not somewhere like Mexico or the Philippines. Ervin Lupoe could’ve gone to any hospital and presented his resume for a job and in the meantime could’ve gone to work at any fast-food place until he received the job offer he was looking for

If I can take one benefit from having Barack Obama as President (and it is the ONLY benefit I see from it) it is that NOBODY of any skin color can EVER use the color of their skin as an excuse as to why they don’t have a job or why they’re suffering in the current situation they’re in. There are no longer any excuses left for anybody; all that’s left is looking in the mirror and admitting that YOU are the reason YOU are not living the wonderfully blessed life that God has promised YOU deserve.

As much as he would like you to believe he is, Barack Obama is NOT your Messiah. He will NOT give you food to eat or clothes to wear. He will NOT help you pay your bills. He will NOT do anything to help you, but rather will keep you living the life of a victim, depending on the government to give you just enough to get by, like a drug dealer giving a drug virgin just enough FREE product to get them coming back for more. GOD is the ONLY one who not only can but WANTS to give you everything you NEED. He CAN give you food to eat and clothes to wear. He CAN help you pay your bills. Of course (even though he CAN) God is NOT going to hand you ANYTHING (like the Democrats do). God WILL give you the career you need to earn the money you need to have the things you need. God believes in you, even though you don’t.

God believes you CAN even if the government wants you to believe you can’t. God knows you WILL if and ONLY IF you choose to believe in his promises and stop believing in the fancy words of a man who himself has no clue what he’s doing or how he’s going to do it. At the end of the day, Barack Obama is no different than you, without God he will fail miserably. If you humble yourself and ask God for what it is you need, he will not only give you your needs but your wants as well.

“I just don’t know why he (she) won’t commit”. I still crack up until I pee or spit milk out of my nose when I hear that. I see these women (and men) on television or in real life, asking why the guy (or girl) they live with just won’t settle down and marry them, and it makes me laugh until it hurts. I’m not joking here. I’m not saying this to be disrespectful, but are you really that stupid? There’s an old saying, “why buy the cow when you get the milk for free”. I am being so damn honest when I say this, but any woman (or man) who lives with their boyfriend (or girlfriend) before they’re married is an idiot. This has nothing to do with the fact that it is 100% immoral and against God’s word, because I know in this disgusting immoral world we live, that doesn’t even matter to so called Christians. This is just about common freaking sense. You’d think you’d have a little more respect for yourself than that. You’d think you’d be smarter than that. You’d think . . . oh wait, you obviously don’t think. I’m telling you, you don’t get any sympathy from me. You deserve exactly what you get. When you want them to marry you and they won’t, you deserve it. When he comes home with lipstick on his collar (cologne on her clothes) you deserve it. When you find the numbers in his (her) pocket, you deserve it. When he’s (she’s) out later than usual, you deserve it. When they’re not where he (she) said they’d be, you deserve it. When he gets you pregnant and then ignores you and eventually cheats on you with someone who USED to look the way you did, you 100% without a doubt deserve it (okay, this one is only one sided for obvious reasons). I am so sick and tired of hearing women (men) complain about how their boyfriend (girlfriend) they’ve been sleeping with them, now won’t commit to them. Get over it. You were stupid enough to put yourself in that position, you got exactly what you thought you deserved. And trust me, it doesn’t stop there, for the rest of his (her) life, even if they do marry you, they will remember how easy it was to get what they wanted from you and they will use it any time they can against you. They may never say it or hint to it, but they will use it to manipulate you, because from then on, you will be that easy target they got. You can tell yourself its okay. You can try and convince yourself that they really do care, and you know what? They probably do care, but unfortunately for them, you don’t care enough about yourself.

Well, the feminist left has come up with a quote of their own that says “Nowadays, 80% of women are against marriage! WHY? Because women realize it’s not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.” Is that so? Then why is it that 90% of women have had premarital sex by the time they are 30? Why is it that 40% of married women are having affairs? Why is it that the average number of sex partners for a woman is six to eight in one year? Why is it that 70% of women condone sex before marriage? Why is it that 35% of women are more apt to having “rebound” sex? Why is it that 30% of women are having sex on the first date? Seems to me that “women” aren’t just settling for the “pig” to get a “little sausage”, but they’re actually going out of their way to get even more. With all that, it must be said… “Even a cruise liner looks like it’s the size of a little sausage when it’s sitting in the middle of the entire ocean” or my favorite… “Even a 747 looks small when it’s landing in the middle of the Grand Canyon”.

REAL CHRISTIAN

Do you know how hard it is to be a REAL Christian man and go out and to find REAL Christian friends? I was having this discussion with my pastor. Because I was explaining to him how it was so awesome to find a REAL Christian girl finally. I told him. I mean I'm just a man and I go out every now and then. I try to talk to people who claim to be Christians. But then they blow my mind with some of the things they say. Talking about how they're planning on going out drinking as they light up their cigarette. They talk about how they're all going dancing this weekend. When you're alone with some of the guys (and even some of the girls) they talk about having sex with their partner or someone they barely met. And these are supposed to be Christians?

What happened to Romans 12:2, where we are told to not be part of this world? And what about I Corinthians 6 that talks about when we do things like that we make our body the part of a harlot, which separates us from Christ. Or what about Ephesians 4:12, which says we are supposed 2 use our body to edify God. And does not Ephesians 5:20 say that we are members of his body? Do you think you would find Jesus drinking, or smoking or dancing around moving his body to entice the people around him? Philippians 3:21 says it best. Jesus came to fashion our bodies away from the corruption of the world unto glory, but the last part is the most important. He can only do that according to how much he is able to subdue things unto himself. In other words, we have and will always have a free will to do whatever we want. But, if we willingly do the things that are said to be wrong in the word of God then how can we be in his glory? Colossians 2:23 goes on to say that we as Christians are supposed use our bodies in humility and wisdom to worship God, and to neglect the satisfying of our flesh. It’s no wonder there are so many Christians who lack peace in our hearts and in our lives. Peace translated in the Bible means "nothing missing and nothing lacking" according to the Greek Concordance. So then it would make sense that I Thessalonians 5:23 says that unless we keep our bodies blameless until the return of Christ than we will never have peace in our minds, bodies or soul. Finally Amos 3:3 says how can two walk together, unless they agree. So I ask you "Christians" this, how can you expect to walk right with God if you continue to do the things that the Lord says are wrong to do?

Our body is supposed to be an extension of the Lord, and when we defile it by drinking, and smoking, and having sex, and going to places that we shouldn’t be like clubs and bars and places like that we willingly separate ourselves from God. And the Bible says that not even saying you didn’t know it was wrong is an excuse, because it is all written there for us to know. So ask yourself this next time you’re out drinking, smoking, sleeping around, or dancing around for the world:

I am a Christian. At least that is what I answer if you ask me what religion I am, because after all it is just a religion and as long as you don’t push your religion on me I won’t push my religion on you. I am a Christian. I gave my heart to Christ so long ago that I don’t remember the date. I believe that Christ died for my sins, so it’s okay if I sin a little bit every now and then, after all “we all have to sin a little bit everyday”, right? I am a Christian, and I will proudly tell you that any Sunday morning on my way to church, as long as it’s not football season. I am a Christian, and it’s okay if I drink a little or smoke a little every now and then, after all “I’m only human”, right? I am a Christian, I can quote you over a hundred Bible versus by memory and recite the books from beginning to end, but don’t ask me what they mean, because I really don’t know. Don’t ask me where it says that as a child of God I am free from sin, I don’t have to be sick and I don’t have to be poor, because I don’t know where it is, and since I don’t know where it is in the Bible it’s probably not true. I mean come on, its God’s word, “how do I know what it all means”? I am a Christian and I’ll tell you that as we go out to dance at the clubs, “I wonder if I’ll meet any Christian people while I’m here?” I am a Christian, but I have no clue what God’s will is for me, even though he says in his word that he “wishes above all that I [as his child] would prosper and have perfect health”. I am a Christian, and I will tell you this as I explain to you that me getting cancer is part of “God’s will”, even though I just finish telling you that I don’t know what God’s will is. I will tell you that it must be God’s will that I didn’t get the job, can’t support the children God blessed me with and don’t have the desires of my heart, because that’s the kind of God I serve, right? I will tell you that it must be God’s will for me to be sick, poor, oppressed, depressed and full of fear, all the while saying that “nobody knows what God’s will truly is”. As a matter of fact, as a Christian, I will blame God for so many things that happen in my life and I will tell you that they are all part of God’s will for me and yet I will continue to tell you that “I don’t know what God’s will is”. I am a Christian, and I will continue to say “nobody knows God’s will”, but I will continue to read my horoscope, go to fortune tellers and have my palm read in hopes to find out the future that I’ve already confessed God won’t tell me. I am a Christian. I don’t have time to read the Bible, I can’t find time to seek God in prayer and I’ll be lucky if I go to church once a month. But invite me to a movie, a party, or sport’s event and suddenly my schedule clears up. I don’t have money to pay my tithes and offerings, but I can buy a pack of cigarettes everyday, a quart of liquor, and I can find a way to go clubbing, a bar and a movie, all in the same weekend. And yet I will continue to wonder why I am sick or poor or depressed or oppressed or full of fear. Now don’t tell me I’m wrong for doing what I do, after all it’s my walk with God and you can’t judge me, even though the Bible says we should use God’s word to hold each other accountable, so that we can stand before God perfect. I mean come one now, after all we are nothing more than sinners saved by grace right? Even if the Bible says that we are “brand new creatures and everything we did in the past is done away with”. I know what I’m doing; after all I am a Christian.

Or is it possible that every where I use the word “Christian” here, I could be using the word HYPOCRITE???

BA BA BLACK SHEEP!

Black sheep is a derogatory colloquialism in the English language meaning an outsider or one who is different in a way which others disapprove of or find odd. This can be someone who has been shunned by others, or one who has chosen to be an outsider, due to actions and aims that separate them from the rest of the people or "flock". A typical example might be a family member who has chosen to follow a religion other than that of the rest of his family. In psychology, a black sheep is the member of a rigidly triangulated family who holds the rest tightly together by being identified as the bad/sick/deviant one who causes all the family problems. In this situation, the rule enforcer in the family is charged with the job of controlling the black sheep from revealing the family secrets. The black sheep is seen as an outsider, but only because he is a teller of truth.

I am the black sheep of my family and trust me when I say this, I wear the badge proudly. It doesn’t matter what it is, if someone in my family does something horrible they are easily forgiven, but when I do something that is “wrong” in my family’s eyes, it is held against me forever. No matter how long it takes, they will continue to hold it against me and keep it in mind when they see me. If I say something that offends someone in my family, that is unforgivable, but if someone else says something about me, it’s usually accepted as the truth. Double standards rule when it comes to my family. They will accuse me of not minding my own business, but when something happens between one person in my family and me, the entire family MUST get involved.

I love my family, which will never change. I pray for them daily and ask God to shower them with his grace and mercy and to bless them and keep them healthy. I know that God can only do so much when they CHOOSE not to walk according to His word, but still I pray for their protection, and God has kept them thus far. However, just because I love my family does NOT mean I would ever sacrifice my walk with God to please them. I will continue to love them and pray for them and if I am never accepted by them, the one thing I will know is that I can stand before God and say that I told them the truth; I gave them His word and I will not have any blood on my hands.But, like I said before, I wear this badge proudly; I truly am the black sheep of my family. Why am I proud of this you might ask? Because there is someone who doesn’t see things that way, and that is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When the whole world sees me as a black sheep and rejected, my Father God sees me as one of his very own. When my family rejects me, my Father God embraces me. When my family mocks me, my Father God comforts me. I am my Father’s sheep and He is my Shepherd. The flock I belong to is one that has suffered the same sacrifice as myself, being rejected by the world, but embraced by their Father God. And it is all worth it, because the sacrifices I make to please my Father God mean that there are countless blessings that I will receive because of it. When the whole world comes against me, there is one person who stands firm by me and with me and that is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is more valuable to me than the acceptance of anybody in this world.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

DRAMA FREE

Why is it that just about every person I talk to, says they want to be or are “drama free”? What exactly does that mean? Look, I’m a Christian and I know that God won’t put anything in my LIFE that I cannot get through, but to say that there’s no “drama” in my LIFE is to say that every time something comes up that is a struggle for me, I would run from it. That’s what I call a COWARD. I thank God every day I am NOT “drama free”, because it reminds me that I am still alive. People who run from “drama” are not living LIFE, they’re running away from LIFE. LIFE is full of drama, every day, there’s something new that comes up. Are you telling me that when you face a struggle, instead of standing up and getting through it you run from it? That’s pathetic. That’s immature. That’s childish . . . I could go on, but I won’t, I hope you get the point. The Bible teaches that Satan doesn’t attack people he’s already got control over, so maybe that’s why you’re “drama free”, because Satan already has you so deceived and blind that he’s already controlling you. LIFE is NOT about living “drama free”, LIFE is about recognizing that there IS “drama” in my life and I know who I am in God and I am able to get through the “drama”. God doesn’t say he will take us OUT of the FIRE, but that he would take us THROUGH the FIRE. So, if you want to live “drama free” that’s fine, but you’re not really living, you’re just getting by. Cowards run from “drama”, but a REAL MAN (or WOMAN) runs forward until they get through the “drama”, because they know that the reward of finishing the race outweighs any benefit of running away.

GOOD OL' DAYS

THE FOLLOWING IS IN NO WAY AN ATTACK ON WOMEN. EVERY HER CAN BE REPLACED WITH HIM, EVERY SHE CAN BE A HE, AND VICE VERSA.

What happened to the good old days? When a guy and girl could just be friends nothing more? Why is it now, that if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend, it’s almost required of you to eliminate all your friends of the opposite sex? Or just because a guy or a girl has a boyfriend or girlfriend, it automatically means they can’t make new friends of the opposite sex? Have we become so insecure that we feel the need to control those we claim to love? Have we become so self-centered that we think we have a right to dictate the life of someone who has blessed us by choosing to be with us? Trust me, I know what I’m talking about, I used to be the same way. But, then something happened, I grew up. I know how it feels to be so insecure that I felt the need to tell my girlfriend who she can and cannot talk to. But, I’ve learned that if I truly care for them then I have to trust them. So many times I come across women that I talk to and they tell me “I don’t think my boyfriend would like me talking to you”. So, I wonder, does your boyfriend trust you? Does your boyfriend think so little of you that you don’t feel he would allow you to make guy friends? Is he that insecure or is he just selfish? I mean really now, it makes sense if we think about it. This is someone you claim to care about and claim to want to be with. This is someone who you could potentially share the rest of your life with, and this is how you treat them? You control them and tell them how things are going to be in their own life? Excuse me, but grow the hell up. She is your mate NOT your slave. You are NOT two halves of a whole; you are two WHOLE people who have chosen to share yourselves with each other. Why do we feel the need to control each other? Why do we allow ourselves to be controlled? I know so many people who tell me “my boyfriend checks my messages, reads my e-mail and knows all the numbers in my phone book . . .” and they’re okay with this. How can people be so naïve, so ignorant, so stupid? How can you as a human being think so little of yourself that you would let someone who claims to care about you control you this way? I once dated a girl who expected me to tell her who she could and could not go out with. She told me each and every person who she talked to. She told me every guy who hit on her, every guy who looked at her, and every guy who tried talking to her. She felt she had to call me and ask me if she could go out with her friends. I finally had to look at her and tell her, “You are not my property. I trust you completely, if you want to go out with your friends you don’t need my permission to talk to someone or go out with your friends. I don’t care about guys who hit on you or talk to you, because I trust you enough to know you won’t do anything”. She was shocked that I said this and ended the relationship because she claimed I didn’t care. I was more than happy to end things; I was shocked I actually had to tell her this. It’s bad enough that women have very low self esteems, but it doesn’t help when we as men treat them as our property rather than a person. The sooner we realize they are a human being just like us, the sooner we will be happy. Not one of you men who act like this can tell me you have peace in your heart. I know how it feels. Always wondering where she is, always wondering what she’s doing, always thinking about what you don’t know. It’s not worth it. Trust me; it’s really not worth it. A good woman is worth going through hell for, but a real good woman won’t make you go through that hell. If you have a doubt there is probably a good reason, but talk to her about it, before you become obsessed with it. A hug between friends can just be that. A phone call from a guy can be just another friend. When a guy looks at your woman be happy, because you know other men want to be with her, but she’s with you. Trust your woman and she will reward you for it. If you have doubts talk to her about it before you act on it. Take it from someone who knows. I went from a guy who broke another guys nose just for giving my girlfriend a hug (because they were good old friends) to now being a guy who says “thank you” when I see another guy looking at my girl. Don’t get me wrong, don’t be naïve, you can tell if a woman is being secretive. Trust me, they suck at lying and hiding things, but we’re just too stupid to see the signs. Close your nose and open your eyes. You’ll see a quality woman by her fruits. A quality woman isn’t someone who denies their friends just to spend time with you, but she’s not the woman who tells you she’s going out with her friends without you. A quality woman is the one who asks you if you want to go and then waits for you to tell her it’s okay to go out without you. They want to be secure in knowing you’re okay with them being their own person, without having to deal with you calling them every minute to check up on them. Watch the friends they go out with, but don’t automatically assume they’re the same way. A good friend will encourage your girl to go out with them, but will never push you to be untrue to you. Above all, trust your girl. If you don’t have trust then you sure as hell don’t have love. Remember, a good woman will not give you a reason to doubt them, because they will tell you everything if you just listen. Life isn’t over if she cheats on you, but don’t be stupid enough to stay with her if she does, because then you really are a moron. If you know without a shadow of a doubt that your girl cheated on you, then the best thing to do is to turn your back on her 100%. If you give her a chance to explain or to ask for forgiveness then you’re only setting yourself up to get back with her and give her a second chance to make you look like a fool again. Nobody dies because someone cheats on them, and anybody who commits suicide or kills because of being cheated on is an idiot. The lesson here is this, now you know the kind of woman you don’t want in life. So move on, find a real good woman and don’t be stupid enough to make the same mistake twice.

"As we approach a new dawn of a new era it's pretty easy to see that things change.. times change ... people change and society changes..

Call me crazy but no matter how the times, seasons and moral changes... Im an old fashioned girl with old fashion values... but with a little bit of a new age spin.

I mean grant it we can't live in the past forever but does that mean that we can't keep some of it to go along with the changing ways??

Lets start with pick up lines...
Don't call me Mami, because I am NOT going to be your mother... Don't call me baby because Daddy you are not.

I am a grown woman that can take care and provide for myself, I don't need someone to shelter me nor do I need to be the one to shelter you. I look for an equal someone to allow me the space and respect to care for myself, someone who can accept the fact that I love to care for another and want to grow from each other, I do not want to raise you.

So as a woman let me give some of the men out there a little something to go on in life with...

If you're out there looking for a wife... then your "club tactics" your "ay bay bay tactics" aren't going to be suffice.

I can not tell you how irritated it makes me when a guy walks by and says something stupid or whistles ... Yells something dumb out of the car window as you drive by....

I mean what you aren't man enough to get out of your car and do that? You have to drive away ?? Afraid of rejection much?

Or maybe it's because you know how ridiculous you look and sound.

Or how about the fact ladies... when you're in a club or a bar or wherever for that matter and a guy walks up and tries to grab /grope you and tries to say something in your ear.... I CAN NOT STAND THAT...

Just a thought gentlemen...

How about....

You see a woman that catches your eye and instead of doing something that's only going to leave a jerk off impression in her mind... you instead...

Walk up and say, Hi, (introduce yourself) and just say... Im just here and I couldnt help but notice you and I just wanted to say hello and maybe get the chance to talk to you...
Now I'm not going to say that you wont get turned down, because that depends on the girl and what she's got going on... but atleast you wont look like an idiot, and should she ever see you somewhere again, she's going to remember good things of you rather than some gross guy she saw in a club.

They say chivalry is dead but why? It doesnt have to be.

Maybe its just me but nothing makes me feel better than knowing that Im the whole package by the person thats into me.

Im not the kind of girl who has to be pampered... Im the kind of girl who wants the thought of being pampered offered to me.

I don't need roses and a limo on a date, I like the idea offered
I don't need diamonds and candy, I like the fact that the thought was there.

I don't need the world but I love the fact that you want to spend your life trying to offer it to me.

See guys.... Men have a lot of misconceptions about women... Im talking about REAL women...

If you ever took the time to get to know a Real woman you would see... that all she wants is the thought... the effort... I can live a life time in a card board box with news paper as my blankets if the man who loves me is with me.

And I'd live that life happy because no matter what we have and may not have, I know that the thought is in his heart.

So guys when you're out there wondering what to do... Just remember ....
