In the Room...

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

When we were children (most of us) had shame… so much so that when we knew we were doing something bad, we would do our best to hide it, so that our parents wouldn’t see and hope they never found out…

I was thinking of that while in church the other day… the message for me that day came from a song that the band sang… the lyrics said something like “I’m not going to talk about you, like you’re not in the room…”

How many of us so called “Christians” ever think about that? We act like God is sitting up on His throne looking down on us from so far up He couldn’t possibly see what we’re doing… and it’s true… He IS sitting up on His throne, but God is omnipresent… which means… he’s EVERYWHERE!

I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
(Matthew 28:20)

There you are having sex with someone you’re not married to… Jesus is standing right next to your bed watching everything you’re doing…

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
(1 Corinthians 6:18)

There you are sitting drinking your beer and Jesus is sitting right there next to you watching you drink the beer…

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit
(Ephesians 5:18)

There you are smoking your cigarettes or your joint and Jesus is right there watching you smoke…

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
(I Corinthians 6:19-20)

There you go calling your friend to tell them what this person said or did…

Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
(James 4:11)

There you are cursing God’s name because something didn’t go your way… Jesus is standing there paying close attention to every word…

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
(Exodus 20:7)

There you are complaining about the situation… Jesus hears your words…

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
(Proverbs 6:2)

There you are speaking doubt and fear…

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
(Proverbs 18:21)

Jesus is sitting listening to every word you say, comparing it to the Word He wrote.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
(Matthew 12:36)

When we were children, (most of us) had fear of our parents and what would happen if we got caught doing something wrong. As children of God, this is the same “fear” we should have for God.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
(Proverbs 1:7)

Not the “fear” of what’s to happen if we disobey him (although we should have that kind of “fear”)… but rather the kind of “fear” we have for someone we respect and honor for everything He has done for us.

So many of us like to rationalize our CHOICE to sin by saying “I’m already saved” because they said some prayer once and it somehow gives them the right to do whatever they want from then on.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
(Hebrews 10:26)

But see, the Bible is clear, we make the CHOICE to sin, after we know its wrong… and when we CHOOSE to sin, that little prayer we once said no longer has any bearing… it no longer holds any weight… Why?

Because when we got “saved” we made a promise to God.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
(Romans 6:1-2)

We promised that not only were we repenting of our sins that we had already committed…

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(I John 1:9)

But, we also made the promise that we would completely separate ourselves from the world and all its sin…

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(Romans 12:1-2)

Because we acknowledge that we no longer belong to the world…

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
(John 15:19)

And recognize that God has made us clean…

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(II Corinthians 5:17)

But it begins with our CHOICE to do things God’s way… not OUR way…

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

And that path is laid out for us in the Bible…

First we must acknowledge is the creator of all and it is He who we come to and answer to for all things…

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(Romans 1:20-21)

We must then acknowledge that we HAVE sinned, despite being God’s creation…

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(Romans 3:23)

But that God loved us so much, He CHOSE to send His own Son as a sacrifice for our sins…

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

Because without Christ, we deserve and should meet eternal death, but through Christ, we receive eternal life from God…

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

It isn’t automatic. We have to make the CHOICE to confess our sins and CHOOSE to believe in our hearts that Jesus is our ONLY Salvation.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:9-10)

And we CHOOSE to put Jesus Christ above all things… including ourselves and our own worldly desires.

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.
(Romans 11:36)

Not simply because we fear what happens if we don’t…

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
(Revelation 21:8)

And not just because we believe for our eternal final reward…

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
(II Timothy 4:8)

But also because we KNOW that IF we CHOOSE to obey God here on earth then God will CHOOSE to bless our lives with good things…

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
(Jeremiah 29:11)

And that he will fulfill his desire for us, which is to live a long healthy life blessed with every desire of our heart.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
(III John 2)

So… the next time you want speak fear or doubt about the situation you’re in, don’t forget that Jesus is repeating every word you speak to God and confirming that this is what you believe for your life.

The next time you want to complain about what’s going on in your life, don’t forget Jesus is hearing you complain about the life he’s blessed you with.

The next time you want to use God’s name in vain, don’t forget that Jesus is listening to you as you dishonor his name.

The next time you want to call your friend and gossip about someone, don’t forget that Jesus is on the line with you, hearing everything you say.

The next time you want to light up a cigarette and/or joint, don’t forget that Jesus is sitting right there watching you CHOOSE to harm your body.

The next time you want to take a drink, don’t forget that Jesus is watching you turn His Temple into a mockery.

The next time you want to sleep with that person you’re not married to, don’t forget Jesus is standing there watching you turn His Temple into a whore house.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
(Joshua 24:15)

The next time you want to do ANY of the things God commands us not to do in His Word, don’t forget that Jesus is watching you CHOOSE to live by your own ways, rather than His.

He’s watching you CHOOSE to be cursed rather than blessed.

He’s watching you CHOOSE to suffer because of your sin.

He’s watching you CHOOSE to be less than what he created you to be.

The next time you want to do something you KNOW you shouldn’t do, don’t forget that you leave God NO CHOICE but to allow you to go to hell, because despite how much God loves you, you don’t love Him enough to CHOOSE to obey His Word and walk the path He CHOSE for you.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
(Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

We ALL have choices to make, we can either CHOOSE to be obedient and accepted by God… OR… we can CHOOSE to disobey God’s Word and be rejected by Him… either way… we have nobody to blame for what happens to us, but ourselves!

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(Matthew 7:23)

Fight for your Right... VOTE!!!

There are those of us who will stand by and allow our government to do what it wants… when it wants… how it wants… there are those of us who chose the current situation our country is in by either choosing to vote for the wrong people… or simply not choosing to vote at all… there are those of us who simply do not care… they do not believe their vote counts… or simply have given up on the matter all together… BUT… there are still those of us who refuse to give up… refuse to surrender… we choose to fight… perhaps not with guns and knives (yet)… but with our voices… and with our VOTES… VOTE… not because it’s the “right thing” to do… not because it feels good… not because someone else is telling you to… VOTE… because whether we love it or hate it… this is OUR country… because still have the right to say who runs it… and what they can do with it!

Tomorrow isn’t just another election day… it isn’t just another day to climb into a box… put your mark on paper and go home with a sticker and feel good about yourself… it’s a day for you to use a weapon greater than a knife or sword… more powerful than guns and bombs… it’s a day when millions of people will say without saying a word that we will NOT sit back any longer and allow the current administration to destroy the country we love and support… we will NOT allow them to lie to us… we will NOT allow them to turn our heroes into villains and our enemies into friends… we will NOT allow them to steal any more of our rights in the name of “the greater good”… we will NOT allow them to turn us into a people cowering in fear of what the government will do next and keeping us reliant upon them to survive! We don’t need the government to save us… the government needs us to save it! We WILL take back our country… by putting the right people where they need to be… by removing those who would rather sit back and fatten their pockets in the name of “welfare” than they would use that money to create the jobs this country so desperately NEEDS!

Our danger isn’t overseas… fighting countries we barely know over issues we barely understand… our danger isn’t in the terrorist who wants to destroy our country with bombs… our danger isn’t from the outside… its from within… WE have become the biggest danger to this country… the minority “we” that would rather sit at home and feel sorry for itself instead of creating opportunity! We are NOT the lazy Americans our government has turned us out to be… sitting at home collecting “welfare”… not because we “need it”… not because we “deserve it”… simply because we “want it” and somehow have convinced ourselves that we should have it!

This country deserves better… this country NEEDS better… we need entrepreneurs… not career welfare recipients… we need business men and women… not vagrants and thieves… we need opportunists… not elitists… We need people who want to give back to this country for all it’s done for them… not whine and bitch about everything this country does not do for them!

So… for that reason… I’ve selected this image to represent what we need to stand for… YES… I believe we are “one nation under God”… but not everybody who reads this will believe… understand… or accept that… so I did not use a “religious” symbol… YES… I believe we are a REPUBLIC that stands for freedom of the people not oppression or coercion… but… again… we all do not believe that… and for that reason I’ve selected to not use the Republican symbol… I believe in lady liberty… I believe in the flag… I believe in all they both stand for… but… they are both passive symbols in a time where we need be come angry (not violent)… aggressive (not dangerous)… We need to become active (not ignorant) in how our country is lead and the direction in which it goes!

Which is why I’ve chosen two fictional characters to represent what must happen in this country come tomorrow… Captain AMERICA… and of course Wonder Woman… two who stood for good… against all evils… both foreign and domestic… two who stood for right… even when it was wrong to stand for it… two who you knew would never back down… even if it cost their lives… this is the America we need to get back to… this is the America we must seek out… this is the America we DESERVE!

So… tomorrow when you vote… I hope you’ll remember this one thing… choose people who will fight to restore this country… vote for the ones who truly want “change”… not just say they do and then do nothing to bring it about… vote for those who will fight FOR you… not against you… vote for the ones who will do what it takes to create a better America… not the ones who tell you to take what they give you and like it… we are America… we are AMERICANS! And until another country (or someone from within) comes and takes our rights and freedoms from us… we will remain America… a country built on the idea that it was good and well to want more in life and that NOBODY… no matter race… religion… political party… or otherwise has the right to take that away from us! Superheroes may not be real, but with your vote… we can send the message that we still believe in what they stand for… freedom… human rights and the AMERICAN WAY!

Fight for your right now… or face the consequences of your actions (or lack there of)…

Coversation between Obama & Bush

Obama: Hello Mr. President, I was just calling to thank you for everything you did that I took credit for and have made me look good, despite the fact I’ve really done absolutely nothing since taking office. I hope you don’t mind me blaming you for everything, even though I know had I stayed your course, we probably would’ve been in a much better position than we are now…

Bush: Now Barry, you know I don’t mind… You know how it is… Republicans put all the hard work in and Democrats take the credit… while Democrats make all the mess… & Republicans are blamed for it… don’t forget that I took the blame for the mess slick Willy left the country in… just like I’m sure the Republican who takes your place in 2012 will somehow be blamed for all your mistakes.

Obama: Well Mr. President, tonight I announce the pullout of our troops in Iraq, thank you for the success we had there… and I hope you don’t mind if I once again take the credit for it…

Bush: Barry, I toldya… that’s what I’m here for… blame me for the bad… take credit for the good… its all part of the game…

Obama: Well thank you Mr. President, I appreciate that… I don’t think my ego could take it if people stopped drinking Obama-Aid and realized just how messed up this country really is…

Bush: Well now Barry, you can’t force them all to drink, what happens with the ones who refuse to drink?

IT'S YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE...

It's amazing how much so called "Christians" believe that isn't even in the Bible... then they wonder why their lives aren't going the way it should...

One person believes its ok to drink as a Christian... another that its ok to sleep around with people you're not married to... another believes "once saved always saved"... & yet another "I'm nothing more than a sinner saved by grace, trying to make it through"... "everybody has to sin a little"... "just gotta love"... "just be happy with whatcha got"... "don't ask God for more"... "everything that happens is God's will"... and everything else they can think of to rationalize why they CHOOSE to disobey God. Well, God's answer is the same in both the Old and New Testament...

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
(Revelation 22:18-19)

For those of you who use that lame excuse "well I just can't understand the Bible the way its written"...

What its saying is that if you add to God's word (like you do when you tell God you think its to drink, sleep around, party, etc...) he is going to put all the curses on you that the Bible talks about are for people like you (poverty, sickness, depression, oppression, etc...) and if you remove from God's book (like people who take out the scriptures telling us not to sin or not to be worldly...) God is going to remove your name from the "book of life"... which is that book your name has to be in if you want to get into heaven.

But...

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

If you CHOOSE to obey God, he will CHOOSE to bless you with EVERYTHING! I don't know about you... but it sounds like a common sense choice to make... but that's just me.

How long will "minorities" allow the liberal left to manipulate and rape them? Resurrection 2010

This is a true story. I was wondering what I was going to write/share for Resurrection Day and this morning it came to me, so I wanted to share it.

I was walking down the street on my way to the gym, when for whatever reason I blurted out “LORD GIVE ME A SIGN”… Which was more me quoting DMX’s song than making any sort of exclamation… But, as usually… that didn’t matter when God has something to say, because as I got those words out, I heard Him speak to me as clear as day. And this is what he said:

“What more sign can I give you? I gave you my son… he was the fulfillment of all things. Have I not taught you that if you ask you will receive? Does my word not say that if you seek you will find? Do I not promise to open the door if you knock? (Matthew 7:7) My people ARE destroyed because of their lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6), but they’re all destroyed because they lack the faith to believe the knowledge they do hold and without that faith, I WILL NOT move (Hebrews 11:6).

Why do people continue to use my “will” as an excuse to not have the things they desire or do the things they want to do? I’ve heard “if it be the Lord’s will” taken out of context more times than there are stars in the sky. Why do my people proclaim they don’t know my will? Do they even bother reading or paying attention to my word? Don’t they realize that I have GIVEN them my will… MY WORD! (Romans 12:2)

Why did I send my son? So whoever believes in Him (and what he DID) will have eternal life. (John 3:16) And is not my Son my Word? (John 1:1) So then why is it that my people seem to (misguidedly) accept that that their sins are eternally forgiven, yet CHOOSE to reject the fact that I also promised to give them EVERYTHING they desire (Mark 11:24)… whether its complete healing (I Peter 2:24) or abundant wealth (Luke 6:38). My son will return for a PERFECT church (Ephesians 5:27), not a dead dry compromising body that only accepts part of my word. (Revelation 3:16)

Indecision is of the devil (James 1:8)… the days of “wait and see” were done the day my son resurrected into heaven (John 16:23). My people are NOT of this world (Colossians 2:8). They do not wonder of what is or will be, but rather have confidence in knowing that WHATEVER they ask of me I WILL DO! (I John 5:14). It is time my people stop coming to me to find out what they need to do… its time for them to KNOW what they want… KNOW what I say… and KNOW that it IS my will for them to do and have whatsoever they desire! (II Timothy 3:14-15)”

I can’t tell you the big smile that put on my face. By the time I got to the gym, I had such an amazing rush of energy that I really don’t remember much of my work out, I just got through it with ease. I know God was speaking to me, but I also know this is a message for everybody. We are NOT “barely getting by”, “wait and see” “if it be the Lord’s will” people… God has promised to give us ALL we need (Philippians 4:19… we KNOW what is and is not of God (Hebrews 5:14)… and we KNOW what God’s will for our lives is (III John 2)… Why do we KNOW these things? Because we are God’s CHOSEN!

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
(I Peter 2:9)

Would Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Be Proud of Barack Obama as President?

In celebration of a true historical icon, I thought I would take a moment to discuss something our president so eloquently likes to claim… that he is the fulfillment of Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream… but… was he?

Martin Luther King Jr. was first of all a Christian, secondly a Conservative and more importantly (for the sake of this argument) a REPUBLICAN! Martin Luther King Jr. wanted men to be judged by the content of their character and NOT the color of their skin, but all I hear is that we've elected the first BLACK President. Since when is BLACK part of someone’s character? People who celebrate the election of the first BLACK President are bigger racists than those who never wanted to see a BLACK President in office. Do you know why you keep celebrating the fact that he’s BLACK? Because if you took the time to do what Martin Luther King Jr. actually wanted and judged Obama by the content of his CHARACTER, you’d realize that there’s nothing there to judge.

Let’s make a quick comparison between the two:

- Martin Luther King Jr. praised this country as a CHRISTIAN country… Obama has denounced and chastised anybody who makes such a claim!

- Martin Luther King Jr. never wanted anybody to use the color of their skin for any sort of gain, most of all politically… Obama embraces himself as the “first BLACK president”.

- Martin Luther King Jr. never shied away from or denied his upbringing… Obama has gone as far as STILL denying the release of his long form birth certificate and denies claims from his own family of his Islamic upbringing.

- Martin Luther King Jr. denied himself the opportunity to be protected, funded and supported by Malcom X and his violent supporters… Obama was trained, groomed, funded and protected by some of the most violent and controversial men of our time.

- Martin Luther King Jr. died for speaking what he believed and didn’t care who his audience was… Obama will say whatever is popular in front of the audience to whom he is speaking to!

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed that ALL men deserved to speak their minds and express themselves respectfully… Obama believes that you should not be allowed to question, comment or criticize the way he runs the government.

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed that ALL children deserved the same education… Obama reversed the DC vouchers that funded children from poor areas to attend better schools, while his own children attend the best private school in the area!

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed in the right to live for ALL children, born AND unborn… All of Obama’s actions since taking office have helped to encourage MORE senseless murders of unborn children!

- Martin Luther King Jr. fought hard to FREE his people by trying to get laws passed that made them equal and helped them become a benefit to society, both by creating an income and making them an equal part of the work force… Obama continues to support and pass programs that fund allowing these same people to sit at home and collect money for not working, in order to keep them SLAVES to the government!

- Martin Luther King Jr. believed that ALL men had the right to become self reliant… Obama believes he has the right to make ALL men reliant upon the government.

- Martin Luther King Jr. taught people to do any job that was available to them, no matter what it was, as long as you were working… Obama prefers people not work in order to make them more reliant upon what the government will give them.

Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream has NOT come to pass, if anything we’ve taken several steps back from reaching his dream. For every vote that was cast because Obama is BLACK, that is one step back. For every vote cast for Obama because he was “NOT Bush”, that’s one step back. For every vote that was cast because Oprah, Will I Am, Scarlet Johansen, or any other celebrity whored themselves in support of Obama, that’s another step back. If you remove all of those votes, what do you have left? Can you honestly say you support a man who supports the abomination of gay marriage, the senseless murder of unborn children and funding programs that allow lazy people to sit at home and CHOOSE not to work, because the government will support them… of course what they don’t realize is that for every check they receive, another one of their rights is being stripped from them.

I WILL support my president (the office) and my country, but I will NEVER support his liberal socialist agenda. Barack Obama will do what every Democratic President in history, reap the benefits that the Republican President before him left because of the unpopular choices he had the backbone to make.

Some day, I do believe Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream will come true. Someday a man will get elected and NOTHING will be said about the color of his skin… nothing will be said about his race… nothing will be said about his nationality (other than he is a naturally born American, unlike Obama)… what will be said about him is he is an honorable man… a wise man (not just a good speaker)… a trustworthy man… what will be said is that he is a man deserving of the office of United States President… Obama is NOT that man!

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.
