AN OPEN LETTER TO PEREZ HILTON

This letter has NOTHING to do with “moral v immoral” “gay v straight”. All it has to do with his the HYPOCRISY expressed by one side towards the other. I respect the right of those who differ from me to believe what they want and act the way they want, but 99% of the time, they don’t give me the same respect and accuse me of “HATE” for simply exercising the same rights they have. Keep that in mind when you’re reading it and if you believe like I do, that IF you really want others to accept you for your ways then you need to do the same for them, then please share this with others by posting it in a BULLETIN (MySpace) and/or “What’s on your mind” (FACEBOOK). Dear Perez Hilton,

Let’s be honest here, this had NOTHING to do with the issue of “gay rights” and EVERYTHING to do with a MEDIA WHORE who has realized that your fifteen minutes of fame are over and are just grasping at straws to keep your name alive. I have NOTHING against you CHOOSING to be gay and I have NOTHING against you exercising your RIGHT to express yourself. But, what I DO have a problem with is the hypocrisy you exercise by attacking someone for expressing views that differ from yours… ESPECIALLY when YOU are the one who asked the question! I have no doubt in my mind that you were CHOSEN as a judge for the sole purpose of asking that question of Miss California. I’m not sure you realize this, but we ALL have a God given AND Constitutional right to believe what we want and express ourselves the way we want. People like you are no different than Hitler who preached about loving all people, but when a group of people didn’t believe the way he believed and acted the way he wanted them to act, he attacked them for it, and we all know the way that ended.

But, to be honest, I would really like to thank you for your example of what I have been trying to show people that those who believe as you do are… your recent rant on Miss California’s GOD GIVEN RIGHT to express herself in response to YOUR question during the Miss America pageant proves EXACTLY the kind of person people like you are. The sad thing is, there actually are homosexuals who respect the right of others to not agree with their lifestyle and respect their right to stand where they stand on the issue of gay marriage, but its people like you who make the whole look bad. You just became the poster child for everybody who lives like you do and believe like you do, which in the end is probably what you wanted all along. You DEMAND people respect you for your way of thinking and CHOICE of lifestyle. BUT if they don’t you attack them for disagreeing with you. You DEMAND acceptance and tolerance but REFUSE to give it in return. You’re all NOTHING but a bunch of HYPOCRITES and COWARDS!
