WHAT IS SALVATION?

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

What is salvation? When I ask that of many people, they easily answer “it is God forgiving my sins”. To which I ask “what else?” And they in turn answer “what else what?” Isn’t it sad that we have become so complacent with our walk with God that we don’t even know what it means to walk with God? None of (at least no true Christian that I know) would argue that to be saved means to bring a change inside of you that renews your soul, right? And if our soul is new then it would be it is whole and prosperous, right? Then why is it that most Christians cannot accept that along with our salvation God wants us to be perfectly healthy and abundantly prosperous? He tells us that it gives him great joy to know we walk in these truths. So, if it gives him joy to see us walk in these truths, I wonder how he feels to see so many Christians NOT walk in these truths. When we get sick or are injured, what do we do? We run to the doctor or take some pills, instead of praying our healing over us like he tells us to do (James 5:14-15). We have more faith in some pills or some doctor or psychiatrist than we do in our Almighty Father. As parents, what do we do when we can’t afford to buy something for our family, we tell them “well it must be God’s will for you not to have it”. Excuse me, but you are a LIAR!!! It shouldn’t surprise me though, because most of you will lie to your children in a few months when you take them to see SATAN Clause (NOT mispelt). Whatever happened to “my God will supply ALL your needs” (Philippians 4:19) and “whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, and you shall receive” (Matthew 21:22)? No, I’m sorry we’re too busy watching football, arguing with our family, drinking, sleeping with our girl/boyfriend to know that. READ YOUR BIBLE!!! Brothers and sisters, I don’t say this with anger, but it’s time we stop being these weak minded, limp wrist, jelly fish spine believers. Put some steel in your spine and start to have FAITH!!!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

If you read your word, there is NOTHING that happens without FAITH. Not even our SALVATION comes without us first believing it exists. God has shown us in his word who we are meant to be as children. We are NOT just barely getting by, sick in bed, back hurting, can barely walk, barely talk, wish I was dead because it’s got to be better than this Christians. We are kings. We are queens. We are GOD’S CHILDREN!!! Stop acting other wise. Grow a back bone and tell Satan to stop attacking you and your family. Rebuke him in Jesus name and he MUST flee from you (James 4:7). Plead the blood of Christ over everything; you’re your family, to your house, to your car, to your job, to your finances and every where else you need it (Revelation 12:11). It’s time for us as God’s children to be the clean living, strong minded, abundantly prosperous, perfectly healthy, full of faith believers God not only calls us to be, but commands us to be.
