A PROVERBS 31 WOMAN

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
WHO CAN FIND A WOMAN THAT IS WORTH MORE THAN ANYTHING?

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
SHE DOESN’T FLIRT WITH OTHER GUYS OR DRESS LIKE A WHORE TO GIVE OTHER GUYS A REASON TO LOOK AT HER.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
SHE PUTS HIM FIRST BEFORE ANYBODY AND DOESN’T PUT HIM DOWN AND TALK ABOUT HIM BAD AROUND HER OTHER FRIENDS.

She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
SHE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THINGS WITH HER HANDS THAT HER FAMILY NEEDS TO LIVE.

She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
SHE DOESN’T THINK A GOOD MEAL IS BUY FAST FOOD OR GOING OUT TO DINNER EVERY NIGHT, SHE COOKS.

She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
SHE WAKES UP EARLY (NOT AT NOON) TO SPEND TIME WITH GOD AND COOKS BREAKFAST FOR HER FAMILY.

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
SHE KNOWS SHE IS A WIFE AND STICKS TO WIFELY DUTIES, WITHOUT HAVING NEED OF DOING OTHER THINGS A WIFE SHOULD NOT DO.

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
SHE IS NOT A LAZY WOMAN WHO SITS AROUND WATCHING OPRAH OR SOAP OPERAS; WHILE HER HUSBAND IS AT WORK SHE IS BUSY DOING HER JOB, BEING A HOUSE WIFE.

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
SHE DRESSES HERSELF UP FOR WHEN HER HUSBAND COMES HOME AND DOESN’T USE EXCUSES LIKE “I HAVE A HEADACHE” OR “I’M TOO TIRED” WHEN HER HUSBAND WANTS TO BE WITH HER.

She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
SHE IS A HARD WORKER.

She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
SHE CARES FOR OTHERS MORE THAN HERSELF; SHE’S NOT A GOLDDIGGER THAT SPENDS ALL HER HUSBANDS MONEY AND DOESN’T CARE IF THERE’S NOT ENOUGH, AS LONG AS SHE GETS WHAT SHE WANTS.

She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
SHE DOESN’T LET HER FAMILY LEAVE THE HOUSE UNLESS THEY ARE PROPERLY DRESSED.

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
SHE WEARS CLOTHES THAT COVER HER BODY, NOT LETTING PARTS THAT BELONG TO HER HUSBAND HANG OUT FOR ALL TO SEE; SHE DOESN’T TAKE PICTURES OF HER BODY PARTS (HANGING OUT) FOR EVERYBODY TO SEE.

Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
SHE IS KNOWN AS A DECENT WOMAN BY OTHER MEN AND BRINGS PRIDE TO HER HUSBAND; NO OTHER MAN CAN TALK ABOUT HAVING BEEN WITH HER HAVING SEEN HER NAKED OR HALF NAKED.

She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
SHE IS A BLESSING TO HER HOUSE, BY TURNING HER DAILY HOUSE WORK INTO A BENEFIT FOR OTHERS.

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
SHE IS DRESSED LIKE A WOMAN AND NOT A SLUT AND DOESN’T SHOW OFF HER BODY FOR OTHERS TO SEE; SHE PREPARES FOR THE FUTURE SHE WILL HAVE FOR HER AND HER FAMILY.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
SHE DOESN’T USE PROFANITY OR SPEAK IMMORAL OR SEXUAL THINGS; SHE DOESN’T SPEAK WORDS THAT CONDEMN OR DEMEAN OTHERS.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
SHE MAKES SURE HER HOUSE IS CLEAN AND TAKEN CARE OF AND DOESN’T GO OUT TO GOSSIP, COMPLAIN AND “PARTY” WITH HER OTHER FRIENDS BECAUSE SHE IS CONTENT AT HOME WITH HER FAMILY.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
SHE DOESN’T EMBARRASS HER CHILDREN BY WEARING CLOTHES THAT SHOW OFF HER BODY OR LET IT HANG OUT LIKE A WHORE; HER HUSBAND TAKES PRIDE IN KNOWING HIS WIFE DOES NOT DRESS OR ACT LIKE A SLUT AND BRINGS HIM HONOR AND IS DESERVING OF HIS LOVE AND PRAISE.

Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
SHE IS HER HUSBANDS ONLY DELIGHT.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
SHE OBEYS THE WORD OF GOD AND THEREFORE IS DESERVING OF HIS LOVE AND PROTECTION.

Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
SHE IS DESERVING OF HER HUSBAND BUYING HER MATERIAL THINGS AND IS DESERVING OF THE TITLE OF “WIFE”.
