HAVE YOU EVER REALLY TAKEN THE TIME TO READ AND DISSECT THE PAULINE EPISTLES? I MEAN JUST LOOK AT WHAT WE FIND OUT FROM ONE CHAPTER:
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children (Ever notice how a child who trusts you will follow you any where?); And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour (In a world who knows nothing about loving, isn't it wonderful that Jesus Christ showed us the perfect example of love?). But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (How sad that there are so called "Christians, who do these things and yet think they are going to heaven, because they were saved once upon a time when they were a child.). Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience (There are so many people calling themselves messengers of God, but their word doesn't line up with the Bible, but Christians are stupid enough to believe them without checking it out for themselves.). Be not ye therefore partakers with them (You'd think this was simple to understand, but how many Christians out there think it's okay to spend time doing things in the world?). For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light (So many Christians call themselves "Sinners saved by grace", but God simply tells us that we WERE dark and now are LIGHT. That doesn't sound like I'm still a sinner to me.): (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord . And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (The only fellowship we should have with the world, is to correct them. I don't see too many Christians these days with the backbone enough to tell their worldly friends what they're doing is wrong). For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is (How many "Christians" use the excuse that, "nobody knows what God's will is". Well, maybe if you spent less time in the world and more time in the WORD, you would know.). And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit (That's right. There's no such think as a "Sipping Saint", for all you who think you can take a little drink every now and then and still be acceptable to God.); Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God (How many times I have told friends and family things out of love, because I knew what they were doing was wrong. But, instead of thanking God for sending one to correct them, what do they do? They chastise me and talk about me behind my back. Far be it from them to simply submit to the person God sent to correct them).
(Ephesians 5:1-21)
So, what's the just of the whole message? Why are we not blessed? Because we sin. Do we have to sin? No, we CHOOSE to. Will God accept any sin? No. Has God prepared us to know how to live this life? Yes, he not only sent His word to teach us all wisdom and knowledge and his will, but he anoints people to go out and teach us the truth.
CONSIDERING THE PAULINE EPISTLES WERE WRITTEN AS A GUIDE TO LIVE OUR LIVES AND WE GET ALL THIS OUT OF ONE CHAPTER, MAYBE IT'S TIME WE PAY CLOSER ATTENTION TO NOT JUST PAUL'S WRITINGS, BUT THE WHOLE BIBLE!!!
